Aria’s POV

I stood in shock staring at the person standing in front of me.

Liam looked equally shocked and confused.

Sophia?!

I knew she was coming back already but I didn’t expect her first stop to be Nathan’s house.

“Missed me?”

Sophia catwalked into the living room, her heels clicking against the floor.

She was dressed in a dark green evening gown which complemented her green eyes beautifully.

And no, I’m not gay, she looks really pretty.

I mean sure I hate her but I’m not

  • The CEO’s Replacement Bride   CHAPTER 36: Perverted Thoughts

Aria’s POVI fucking hate Nathan.I wish he were six feet under.I sat by the edge of the bed absolutely fuming. He was in his study, face deep in whatever documents or folders he was sorting while I was here raging. Why does that to their own wife?!He just left me like this?I'm a horny mess!Worst part is I don't even know a thing in the world about how to touch myself. In a horny taste, gets me riled up and feral just to leave me because I didn’t say what exactly I wanted. This is torture. He did this on purpose.Yeah he did, he wants to see me suffer. He is punishing me for my attitude at his parents' estate. It's not my fault for wanting a divorce. Divorce but don't punish me like this. How the hell does he expect me to go to bed knowing he left me horny as hell? It’s not fair.“Maybe I should get a toy?” I murmured to myself.Yeah, I’m fucked.Debating to get a toy?Come on Aria you’re better than this. All through getting my degree I never let any guy make me so turned on and

  • The CEO’s Replacement Bride   CHAPTER 36: Left Hot And Horny

Aria’s POV Sometimes life decides to play silly games on me. Today was one of those times. I tried my best to avoid making eye contact with Nathan but I could feel his eyes burning holes into the back of my head. I know I’m gorgeous and all but take your eyes off me, man. “Stop staring at me.” “You were staring at me earlier, I think it’s fair I get to stare at you too.” I gulped, Nathan came closer to me. Close enough that I could feel his breath fanning against my face. That rich intoxicating scent of his perfume filled my nostrils. “You can stare all you want, I won’t charge you.” A small smirk appeared on his face, my cheeks burned hot in embarrassment. Could this day get any worse? Just kill me already. “Why are you running?” His question threw me off guard, I stared at him silently. I had no idea how to answer that question, and he sure as hell won’t like my answer. How do I tell him that I’m scared of getting attached to him? I’m scared he is going to choose

  • The CEO’s Replacement Bride   CHAPTER 35: What A Way To End My Day

Aria’s POV “Did you tell him?” I asked narrowing my eyes at her. “About what, Mrs Cross?” she squeaked. “Don’t ‘Mrs Cross’ me,” I snapped. “Did you tell Nathan about the dress? About the plan. About me wanting a divorce.” Hailey gulped and shook her head frantically “What?” “Don’t what me Hailey!” She flinched, her hands fiddling with her dress. She was acting hella suspicious. “I didn’t tell boss anything, I swear.” “Really?” I crossed my arms. “Really, I promise I didn’t say a word.” “His parents were really nice to me!” I grabbed her shoulders, staring at her as she looked around the room trying to avoid my gaze. “I swear I didn’t-“ I cut her off with a wave of my hand, studying her face intently. She was sweating, and no, I’m not a detective, but I do watch a lot of crime shows, so I know when a person is lying. “Hailey.” My voice was stern and my grip on her shoulder tightened. “Mrs Cross I swear I didn’t say anything.” Her voice cracked, tears

  • The CEO’s Replacement Bride   CHAPTER 34: Operation Backfire

Aria’s POVI should’ve known the second we stepped through those stupid white marble doors that this night was going to be a special kind of hell.Because the whole plan, the entire goddamn point of this dress and this attitude and bringing Liam like I was trying to start a war, was for Nathan’s family to take one look at me and decide I was unfit to be anywhere near their precious son. I wanted gasps and clutching pearls. I wanted Mrs Cross to stand up and say something like “young lady, this is a house of decency” so I could flip her off and finally have my grounds for a divorce. What I did not expect was for them to smile at me like I was a lost puppy they found on the side of the road.“Evening everyone!” I said, and my voice came out way louder than I meant it to, bouncing off the walls like I was hosting a damn party instead of walking into a family dinner. “Sorry we’re late, traffic was an absolute bitch.”Silence for half a second then Mrs Cross tilted her head, her pearl ne

She was dressed in a dark green evening gown which complemented her green eyes beautifully. And no, I’m not gay, she looks really pretty. I mean sure I hate her but I’m not a hater. A woman is pretty regardless of the fact she’s an annoying, scheming, pretentious bitch. Sophia walked over to where I was standing and pulled me into a hug that barely lasted five seconds. Why would she hug me? What is she up to? She pulled away from me and set her eyes on Liam. She gave him a curt nod and a simple smile, then her eyes scanned the living room until they landed on Nathan. Perfect, just the man she’d been looking for. Even if she didn’t say it out loud I c

  • The CEO’s Replacement Bride   CHAPTER 32: Tension

Aria’s POVLiam really had no respect.Because tell me why this man just walked into the mansion like he paid rent here.No knocking. The nerve of this guy.Just opened the door and stepped in like, yeah, I belong here.By the look I caught Nathan giving him, I could tell he was beyond pissed.I blinked at him from where I stood near the stairs, my clutch halfway in my hand.“Do you usually enter people’s houses like a thief or is today special?” I asked, raising a brow.He grinned as I had just complimented him. “Relax, you permitted me. I’m here for you dumbass.”“That doesn’t mean you get to waltz in here.”“It was either that or stand outside and look like a lost boyfriend.”I choked a little. “You’re neither.”He smirked. “Debatable.”I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t stop the small smile tugging at my lips. Liam always had a way of talking nonsense like it actually made sense. And then I felt it.That shift in the air.The kind that makes your skin tighten before your brain even
