There was a thud. Then, Fiona screamed loudly in pain as two huge bumps formed on her forehead and blood began flowing down her face.

She was in so much pain that she gritted her teeth and nearly fainted from it. Tears streamed down her eyes as she crouched over on the ground and began to cry loudly.

However, Damian looked like he never noticed it at all. He returned the baton to Douglas and stuffed it into his hands.

"Thanks for lending me your weapon, Mr. Hunter."

Douglas' eyes widened at once. He got such a shock that his legs turned to jelly, and he nearly fell to the ground on his knees.

What the hell? He knew it! He knew that nothing good would come out of bumping into Damian here like this!

What did Damian mean by thanking him for the weapon? Damian was the one who had stolen it from him just now! He was just trying to throw Douglas under the bus!
