Chapter 3

Ivy opened the door to her apartment and was immediately greeted by the sound of laughter coming from the living room. She could see Chloe curled up on the couch, and her feet propped up on the coffee table as she was engrossed in a reality TV show.

"Hey there, stranger!" Chloe exclaimed from the living room, where she was curled up on the couch. "I was wondering when you'd be back."

Ivy walked over to the couch, letting out a sigh of relief as she sank into the cushions beside Chloe.

"So, tell me everything. What happened at the club last night? Did you finally meet someone special?"

Ivy felt her cheeks flush as she thought about Dario. "I, uh, yeah, I met someone," she stammered.

Chloe's eyes widened in excitement. "Ooh, do tell! What's he like? Is he cute?"

Ivy's blush deepened, and she couldn't help the small smile that appeared on her face. "He's really handsome, and charming," she said, her voice low.

"And?" Chloe prompted, leaning in eagerly.

Ivy's mind went back to the moment when Dario asked for her number, the way he looked at her, the way he touched her, the way her heart fluttered.

"And... I don't know, I can't explain it," she said, still unable to put her feelings into words.

"We talked all night and then he took me to his penthouse." Ivy whispered.

Chloe's eyes widened. "Oh my God, you didn't...you know...did you?"

Ivy blushed deeply, unable to say anything as her excitement took over.

Chloe's face lit up with shock, 'Oh my God! You did!

Ivy blushed and looked down at her hands, "Yessss, we had such a passionate night."

Chloe couldn't help but tease her friend, 'Wow, it wasn't too early for a passionate night with a guy you just met, huh?'

Ivy rolled her eyes playfully, ''I know, I know, but it just felt right. He's different from anyone I've ever met before. He took his time and made me feel like the only woman in the world. The way he touched me, it was like he was really trying to understand my body and my desires," Ivy said, blushing slightly.

"So, did he rock your world or what?" Chloe asked with a sly grin.

Ivy blushed and tried to play it cool. "It was definitely a night to remember," she said.

"I'll bet," Chloe's eyes widened in excitement as she turned to the TV to continue her reality TV show.

Ivy stood up from the living room couch, rubbing her eyes as she stretched her arms. She made her way to the kitchen, opening the pots one by one, as she peered inside each pot to see if there was anything to eat.

Finding nothing, she turned to Chloe who was sitting on the living room couch, engrossed in a TV show.

"Chloe, you didn't prepare anything?" she asked.

"Oh, I didn't know when you were going to be back. Chloe looked up at Ivy with a smirk on her face.

"Really Chloe? You couldn't have at least made a sandwich or something?"

"Just order pizza for us" Chloe replied with a chuckle.

"Ha ha, very funny. Ivy responded as she rolled her eyes playfully.

She opened the fridge and scanned the contents, looking for something to eat. She saw some leftovers from the night before, but wasn't in the mood for them.

She spotted a container of yogurt in the back of the fridge and pulled it out. She opened the lid and took a sip straight from the container. The cool, creamy yogurt hit the spot and Elma smiled as she continued to drink.

Ivy walked into her room and closed the door behind her. She goes over to her bed as she fell onto it with a sigh and closed her eyes.

The alarm clock on the nightstand blared, and its loud and obnoxious beeping filled the room as the early morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow in the room. The chirping of birds outside the window mixed with the sound of the alarm clock ringing.

The alarm clock jolted Ivy out of her sleep as she groggily reached over and hit the snooze button, trying to will herself to go back to sleep. But after a moment, she realized that it was no use and sat up in bed as she rubbed her eyes.

She looked over at the clock and saw it was already 6:30 AM as she jumped out of bed, realizing that she had to be at work in an hour. She stretched her arms and legs, feeling the satisfying pop of her joints.

Ivy stood in front of her closet, staring at the rows of clothes hanging inside. She felt a little nervous about her first day of work and wanted to make sure she looked her best.

She brought out a navy blue blazer, a white button-up shirt, and black slacks. She laid them out on her bed, then quickly rummaged through her shoe collection to find a pair of comfortable yet professional-looking shoes.

She rushed to the bathroom and sank into the warm water of the bath, letting out a sigh of contentment. She closed her eyes and let her mind wander, remembering the passionate night she had shared with Dario, who she had met at the club. They shared kisses that left her breathless, and she couldn't help but smile at the memory.

She let her hand trail through the water, feeling the tension in her muscles slowly dissipating. The warm water and the relaxing scent of the bath salts enveloped her, making her feel completely at ease. She leaned back against the edge of the tub and closed her eyes, letting her mind wander as she remembered every kiss, every touch, every moment.

She couldn't wait to see him again, to feel the heat of his body against hers, and to experience that feeling of pure pleasure once more. She opened her eyes, feeling a sense of longing and desire.

She knew she had to focus on her work, but the memory of that night kept coming back to her. She stayed in the bath for a bit longer, letting the warm water soothe her body and her mind before she eventually got out and dried off.

"Hey, your taxi is downstairs already," Chloe announced with a smile as she walked into Ivy's room.

"Thanks, I'll be right down." Ivy responded

"Still thinking about last night? That guy was really something, wasn't he?" Chloe couldn't help but tease her.

Ivy felt a flush creeping up on her cheeks. "I'll try not to think about it too much," she said, trying to play it cool.

"Oh, come on, you're blushing. Admit it, he was amazing," Chloe pressed.

"Okay, okay, he was amazing," Ivy admitted with a laugh. "But I have to focus on work now. I'll talk to you later"

"Sure, sure. Go knock 'em dead at work," Chloe said, still grinning as Ivy rushed out the door.
