chapter 10

Ivy stepped into Dario's penthouse, the sound of her high heels echoing against the marble floor. Dario was sitting on the couch, his eyes fixed on Ivy as she entered. "Wow," he said, "You dressed all this up for me?"

Ivy smiled, but there was a hint of irritation in her voice as she stepped forward. "No, Dario," she said firmly. "I have a date tonight, and I only came here to give you these documents to sign." She handed him a stack of papers, her hand shaking slightly.

Dario took the papers from her, his eyes never leaving her face. "Who's your date?" he asked, a hint of jealousy in his voice.

Ivy hesitated for a moment, her eyes darting around the room. She cleared her throat before finally answering. "It's none of your business, Dario," she said, her voice firm.

Ivy turned to face Dario as he stood up from the couch. She reached for the papers, but Dario held them just out of reach, a smirk on his face.

"Dario, what are you doing?" Ivy asked, annoyance creeping into her voice.

Dario dragged the papers back, a mischievous gleam in his eye. "Just playing a little game," he said with a smile.

Ivy's eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "Is that so?" she asked, her voice challenging.

Dario chuckled and dropped the papers onto the couch. He walked up behind her, his breath hot against her ear as he whispered, "Are you trying to make me jealous?"

Ivy shivered as his words sent a chill down her spine. She turned to face him, her eyes blazing with a mix of anger and desire. "What makes you think I would even bother?" she asked, her voice low and husky.

Dario leaned in closer, his lips hovering just inches from hers. "Because I know you, Ivy," he said, his eyes dark with a burning intensity. "And I know that deep down, you want me just as much as I want you."

Ivy felt a flutter in her stomach as Dario's words hit home. She opened her mouth to respond, but before she could say anything, he leaned in and captured her lips in a searing kiss.

As their lips met, Ivy couldn't help but feel a rush of desire coursing through her veins. She wrapped her arms around Dario's neck, pulling him closer as she eagerly returned his kiss.

Dario's hands were all over her hair, grabbing and pulling it gently as their kiss deepened. He ran his hands down her back, trailing kisses along the curve of her neck as she moaned softly in response.

With a low growl, Dario slipped his hands down to Ivy's thighs, pulling her even closer as he continued to kiss her. She let out a soft gasp as he trailed kisses down her neck, finally reaching her ear where he whispered her name.

Ivy's body was on fire, every nerve alight with desire as Dario's lips explored every inch of her skin. She moaned again, her head falling back as she gave herself over to the moment completely.

Their bodies pressed together, their kiss deepening as they lost themselves in the passion of the moment. It was as if the world around them disappeared, leaving just the two of them, lost in a sea of desire.

Max waited for Ivy at the train station, his eyes fixed on the arrival platform as he waited for her. He checked his watch for the hundredth time, feeling a knot of anxiety growing in his stomach. It was getting darker, and he couldn't help but worry that something had gone wrong.

He pulled out his phone and dialed Ivy's number, but to his frustration, there was no answer. He came out of his car and tried her number again, pacing back and forth as he wondered what could have happened.

"Had she missed her train? Has something happened to her?"

As he waited, Max's mind raced with all sorts of scenarios. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, and he couldn't help but imagine the worst. He tried to tell himself that she was probably just running late, but his instincts told him otherwise.

Just as he was about to call her again, he heard a train pulling into the station. He turned to look, his heart racing as he hoped to see Ivy stepping off the train. But as the passengers began to disembark, there was still no sign of her.

Max felt a wave of panic wash over him. Where was Ivy? What had happened to her? He tried to push aside his fear, but it was no use. He was filled with a sense of dread, and he couldn't shake it.

Unbeknownst to Max, Ivy was at Dario's penthouse, lost in a passionate embrace. She was completely caught up in the moment, lost in the heat of the moment and the desire that was coursing through her veins.

She had forgotten that Max was waiting for her at the train station and had no idea she was causing him worry or distress.

Ivy and Dario stood in the center of his living room, their bodies pressed close together as they shared a deep, passionate kiss. As they pulled away from each other, they stumbled backwards, falling onto the soft cushions of the couch.

Breathless and filled with desire, they gazed into each other's eyes, their hearts beating rapidly in unison. Ivy's phone rang in the background, but she didn't hear it, too caught up in the moment to be disturbed by the outside world.

With shaking hands, Ivy took off her clothes as she lay on top of Dario, looking him straight in his eyes. Their breath grew heavier, a testament to the intense passion they felt for each other.

"I felt something different the first day I met you," Dario said, his voice low and filled with emotion. "You bring out the best in me, Ivy. I've never felt this way about anyone before."

Before Dario could say another word, Ivy placed her fingers gently over his lips, silencing him. "Shush," she whispered, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Don't ruin the moment."

Dario smiled at her words as he slowly moved his hand up her back, pulling her closer to him as he explored her mouth with his tongue.

She moaned softly as her body melted into his. They reveled in the moment, their hearts beating as one, and surrendered to the passion that they shared.
