THREE WEEKS LATER

"OH look who's back."Payton said rolling her eyes as soon as she saw Ember entering the house.

"Hood evening mother-in-law. It'ssuch a beautifulevening isn't it?"Ember said with a smile on her face, probably doing it to annoy Payton. Payton just shook her head.

"Of course you would say that."Payton said.

"And what is that supposed to mean?"She asked.

"You know I remember that you told me that I was a horrible mother a few weeks ago, but now I don't know who's horrible between the two of us."She said. Ember looked confused.

"I still don't understand what you are trying to say."Ember said.

"Today was the day that Dr Lee was supposed to start with the treatment but you decided to wake up in the morning and just go out with your friends. You are lucky that Dr Lee was able to keep Axle alive for the time that you were gone."Payton said. Ember had completely forgotten that it was the day. If she had remembered then she wouldn't have gone out with Sophie for the high schoo
