Chapter 10

I wake up the next morning with Enrique next to me. I reach over to touch his face when the door opens revealing my father . I instantly hide my face under the covers.

“Good you’re both here.” He says

I shake Enrique to wake him. When he finally wakes his immediate reaction is also covering his his face.

“ We need to take care of this situation.” My dad says “ Get dressed.”

Then he leaves closing the door behind him.

I turn to Enrique in shock “Why doesn’t he care?”

“ We’re adults now.” He says

“ This is still his house.”

Enrique shrugs. We take a shower together and after that I do my skincare. While I’m using gua sha stone I catch him staring at me.

I put it down and I give him a look.” What?” I ask him.

“Nothing.” He says “ It’s just that you’re still so obsessed with skincare.”

I sigh” It works for me.”

“ I know it does.” He says pulling me in and kissing the top of my head.

After that we get dressed and we head out to go see my father.
