Chapter 8

I wake up the next morning and I turn to face him but he's gone. I sigh and put on a silk pink robe. I look in the mirror and my hair is messy so I brush it out. It's something I've always done. The only off-putting things about me in the morning has been my messy hair. I go downstairs and find him in the kitchen making breakfast.

One thing he's always loved is making food for us. I do think it all comes down to how you were raised. I on the other hand try to stay as far away from a stove as possible, except for when I have no choice but to make something for myself. Around him I've always felt a little inferior because he's not as spoilt as I am. I used to blame everything on my parents until I met Enrique. And our relationship was like a Taylor Swift song.

Now it's so complicated I can't begin to define it.
