Xiomar’s POV

Something is ringing. I turned my head to the side of the bed, still groggy with sleep. The sound became louder.

“Ouch, turn it off,” Emilio groaned, wrapping his hands tighter around Lyla’s sleeping body.

I opened my eyes slowly,picking up the phone.

“Hello?”

“Boss,” a hushed voice whispered. “They're here, come urgently please.”

Fuck no.

“Achilles,” I tapped his thigh. “Achilles.”

“Wake up.”

Achilles is quiet, his body I stood up. “What are you doing?” “I don't know,” I cried, my hands flying around me. “I don't know but you are too quiet. I want to leave.” Achilles got up from the floor silently. “Your own father…” “I don't know, the memories, they are so foggy,” I said. “But something happened, and it has been haunting me so bad and now you know why we need to get Silvie. Before it's too late. Before Christian does that to her too.” Achilles gripped the towel. “Go downstairs,” he said quietly. “Get Emilio and X for me. Do not water time. Come back.” I'm flying out of the room before he finishes his words, going down two stairs at once. The light in the dining room is still on, even as I crashed into it, X and Emilio are sitting in the table. X sights me first. “What did he do?” He asked, getting up angrily. “I told you not to go there pretty bird,” Emilio sighed.
