Yeah, I just need to rest a bit._ I left them behind, but the truth was Emilio’s words had rattled me to my bones. Yes, this men had touched and owned me once, but would they still want me? I know they have already seen my scars, but I couldn't let anyone in right now. Before I could shut my room door, a hand stopped it. “Are you running away baby girl?” “Emilio, leave her alone,” I heard Xiomar shout from the end of the hall. My dark night is leaning against the door, waiting for an answer from me. “No, I wasn't.” “It seemed like you were. What a pity that would have been,” he hissed. “You had so much fire in you.” Rage built in my heart. Before I could control myself, I slapped him. “Yes,” the sick bastard hissed. “That fire.” He grabbed me by my arms and slamed my door behind me. “Tell me you want me to leave, Lyra. Say it.” I couldn't. A tear dropped down my cheeks and Emilio caught it with his pinkie, and swiped it on his tongue. “Are those for me? Or for the

Xiomar's POV"You just had to run your fucking mouth," I hissed at Emilio. "Huh? Could not keep quiet?"My uncle's men still had their guns trained at us. "Move," the guard said, pressing the tip of the gun to my head.I got up slowly, and walked in a straight line behind Achilles. He was oddly quiet, yet ilio was still laughing and taunting the guards. They took us to a small tower behind the main house. "Go in," The guard said. The three of us entered insider the cramped space. When I heard the sound of the click, I moved."You stupid bitch," I hissed, grabbing Emilio by the throat. I slammed him hard against the brick wall, while he laughed. "Calm down," he wheezed. "You're killing me.""I should smother your asss," I screamed back. "Do you know what the fuck you just did?""Let him go X."I turned to my elder brother. "Why? Lyla’s head was on my lap. She was making cute baby noises, and I watched her sleep, stroking her hair. “We will be there soon,” Xiomar said from the front. He had taken over driving from Achilles after God knows how many miles, forcing my elder brother to rest. I peered outside. “Do you think we would be accepted?” Xiomar said nothing. Isaiah glanced up, looking at me. “Geez, I'm his son,” he hissed. “He can't hate me that much.” I narrowed my eyes at my cousin. “You told him we were coming right?” Isaiah looked away. “What does telling him mean exactly?” “Did you tell your father we were coming?” “Seeing you three betrayed him, and refused to return home, I did not,” Isaish shrugged. “I am sure he would not be so angry.” Emilio’s POV Lyla’s head was on my lap.
