LOGINLyla’s pov
I laid down next to Emilio. “I am so scared.”
He turned and brushed some hair away from my face. “Why?”
I closed my eyes.what if it never goes away, the way i feel?
Emilio kept quiet for a while. “It never does, “ he finally said.
I nodded. I was permanently scarred. “This cannot happen to her,” I said, getting up. “We need to get her now.”
He followed me out of the room, back to the living room where Achilles and Isaiah were together, watching something.
“Hey, “ I slid into the chair next to them. “Where is X?”
“Escorting Sienna out,” he replied. He turned to me, those dark blue eyes taking me in. “You look better.”
I smiled softly, glancing at Emilio. “You need to leave me alone,” I said, pointing at him.
Emilio laughed and poured a glass of scotch for himself. “Can I have some?”
Achilles frowned. “I don't think you should be drinking right now Lyla. You're not fully healed.”
I rolled my eyes. “I have not had an episode in days, plus I got cleared, trust me. I'm fine.”
He looked like he didn't agree but Emilio poured the glass for me. “Thank you," I said, downing it.
“Ugh,” I groaned. “What is the plan?”
Achilles turned to Isaiah. “We discovered there's a party being thrown tonight,” Achilles informed me. “The crow is holding another auction, just as discreet as the last, but with more high end clients.”
I nodded. “Will the mayor be there?” I asked.
“We believe she might make an appearance,” Isaiah replied to me.
“So, what's the plan?” I asked.
Isaiah sighed. “I am going in. No offense, but they already know you guys. Every guard tonight will be looking out for you, but they do not know me. I'll go in, find Rafael and have a conversation with him as a potential arms dealer.”
That wasn't enough. “When do we get my sister out?”
“Your sister is currently unseen, Lyla," Achilles sighed. I did not want to tell you this, but I knew you wouldn't stop asking.
My sister had not been seen. I nodded, it's probably my fathers doing. He doesn't want anything to go wrong so this is his weak attempt at making sure things go only his way.
Achilles nodded. We have spies watching them, but I do not think they are enough. We need something bigger, he mused. Someone in their circle.
Just then, Xiomar walked in. He frowned deeply and he headed straight for Emilio, snatching the bottle from hislkips and raising it to his.
“Jezz, you could ask,” Emilio grunted, walking away. After we silently watched Xiomar drink what seemed to be way too much alcohol for a grown man, he threw the bottle against the wall.
That was not a good sign.
“That bitch,” he hissed. “That bitch is one of them.”
Sienna? I thought in shock. There was no way she was a crow. She had worked with them for so long, there was no way she would be a crow and they wouldn't notice it.
“What do you mean?” Achilles asked frantically.” What do you mean by "we had a crow here, in our business?”
“I did not know,” Xiaomar yelled back. “She pretended so fucking well, and today, just before she left, I saw the mark on her body. The bitvh is one of them.”
I sat down gently. “Where did you drop her off?” Achilles questioned.
“As far away from here as possible, but that snake already knows where we are. We need to leave quickly,” Xiomar said.
Achilles frowned. “Did you place a tracker on her?” He asked.
“You know I did,” X replied.
“I had always hated her,” Emilio said. “Something about her guts, her smell, and kit all irritated me. Now we had to leave as quickly as possible.”
I ran into their rooms. “Get up,” I hissed at Aries. Pack your bags
Aries looked at me in confusion. “What's going on?” She asked.
“We need to go,” I said. I ran back outside, and the boys were already strapping guns to their bodies.
Xionar looked at me with sadness. “She went to him.”
I already knew she would. The minute he said she was a crow, I knew she would go straight to Christian.
“I know you guys want to fight now, but this is not the time,” I begged. “We need to take them all out completely and we don't have that firepower.”
The three brothers stared down at me. “Trust me, I stayed with him for months. We need to go now, so we can get my sister.”
After a few seconds, they leapt into action. “Get the documents, and your laptops,” Achilles instructed. I sighed in relief, then I headed back into my room.
After packing. I decided to leave a message for Christian.
Christian's POV"Let her be," I said. My men dragged in th little terrified girl."B..B...Boss," she said, kneeling. "I have some information that you would like to hear."I smirked. Ever since Lyla's escape, all my tails had gone cold. Everything was just too silent, and even after I killed and slaughtered all their allies, they still did not come out from hiding."Tell me," I replied, walking to my seat. "It better be worth my while."The girl cleared her throat. "I have been an employee for the Draghi brothers for six years now. They came for me, to rescue me."My ears perked up. "Tell me more.""I don't think I really recall, but they took me to their safe house. Lyla, she was there."I closed my eyes. "How was she?""pardon?""I said, How was she?"She looked at the ground. "She looked broken. scared. I have Intel on them, I managed to snoop to listen to their plans."I waved my hands. "That is unnecessary. You said you work for them, tell me, how come you are one of ours now?"S

XIOMAR’S POV “Do you think it's safe to let him go in there?” I asked Achilles for the tenth time. My brother glanced at me. “Emilio always brought out something in her. If Lyla is serious about going after Christian and her father, she needs to snap out of whatever is wrong with her.” He did not lie. I hated that he didn't, but I nodded. “Okay.” Soon, the noises coming from her room quieted down. “It seems whatever he is doing is working,” I commented. “Let's talk about something else,” Achilles said. The gunshot wound he suffered was almost healed up, and he looked fairly alive. “Let's talk about Sienna.” I grabbed my cup of water. “What about her?” “Set her straight,” he hissed. “She is crossing a lot of lines with Lyla, and I would soon slap her.” I nodded. “She's leaving soon.” “How soon?” “Today,” I replied. Isaiah walked into the dining room. “I have news,” he announced, holding his laptop as he sat down. Finally, I stood over his shoulder, watching what h
