Chapter 22 - Exposure

CRASH!!

The flowerpot fell on the floor and broke into pieces.

Marigold did nothing to stop Carla, it happened so fast and she didn't think Carla would do that. She just stood and looked foolishly at the scattered pieces of pot, soil and flowers on the floor.

Then that when the time the bewildered Jessy woke up to what had happened. They immediately stopped Carla who looked to Marigold with fierce eyes as if she was ready to attack her next.

Marigold squatted to reached out and slowly picked up the flowers. She didn't care about the fuming Carla that resembles a lion that time, ready to eat her.

As Marigold carefully picked the plant, she felt heavy in her heart. She felt as if the heart of the person who offered this flowerpot to her had been trampled and broken.

Marigold felt a mixture of annoyance, sadness and regret. She angrily turned to Carla. "Why did you do this? Why‽"

Jessy and their other friends astonished. This is the first time they had seen Marigold outburst.
