Third Person POV

"And who the hell are you?" Michael growled, his wolf pushing to the surface, forcing a half-shift.

His ears slid up the sides of his head, claws lengthened, and sharp fangs flashed as he snarled.

Collins turned his gaze toward him. His eyes glowed, and instantly, Michael’s wolf recoiled, curling deep inside him. Eve froze in terror, scrambled off the bed, and crouched behind it.

Michael tried to force a full shift, but it was like his wolf had been ripped away.

"Michael," Collins said, his voice calm. "Damien’s loyal beta. I did not come for war. You wanted Analica, and I promised Eve I would bring her. Let her undo the mess she created."

Michael’s chest heaved. "How do you know my name?" he demanded, though his wolf was silent within him.

Collins exhaled sharply. "Is this a Dakota family trait? Too many questions." His tone sharpened. "Take Analica to Damien."

Michael swallowed, then nodded, leading the way. Analica followed close behind.

"Eve," Collins said softly,

Damien's POVTo keep the element of surprise, we all stayed at the hospital. It was a blessing that I had an office on the top floor, private enough for strategy, close enough to Analica’s ward, and big enough for us to stay together as a family while we waited for her to wake. When I visited her, the sight hollowed my chest. She lay still as a corpse, her skin pale, her lips bloodless. If not for the gentle rise and fall of her chest, one would think death had already claimed her. My wolf shifted uneasily beneath my skin, a low growl echoing in the hollow of my ribs. She wasn’t my mate, but she was someone dear to me, a friend, seeing her like this raked at instincts I couldn’t silence."It’s been two days already. Is Analica ever waking up?" Ariana’s voice broke the silence.I raised my head from the desk and met her gaze across the room. She lounged on the couch, eyes heavy with worry, but her tone had that teasing lilt she used to keep us from sinking too deep into dread. Before I

Ariana's POVA distant, constant beeping sound began to irritate me. I frowned and eventually opened my eyes. My vision was blurred, and something heavy lay on my chest, but that went away. I blinked twice, trying to clear my vision. Then I heard a familiar voice call out to me, but the voice was distant. "Ariana," The sound pulled me. Closer this time. I turned toward it and saw a blurred figure. Two more shapes joined, and a light flared in my eyes, making me flinch."My love.""Damien…"The whisper scraped from my throat. A warm hand clasped mine. I blinked again, and the fog slowly lifted. Damien’s face sharpened into view, tear-streaked, desperate."My love, you’re awake," he breathed, gripping my hand as if he’d never let go.The last time I saw him, he had been unconscious. My heart trembled. "You… you’re awake too.""Yes," he choked, his voice breaking.I reached up, brushing his cheek. He leaned into my touch like a starving man."Ms Brown," Michael’s voice broke through,

  • The Chosen Human Luna   Chapter 132: Undo What You Have Done

Third Person POVIn the cabin near the city border, Alpha Leo and Victoria waited for Analica’s return."I know witches are powerful," Victoria said, her wolf restless beneath her skin, "but we werewolves have our strengths. Do you really think she can slip past the guards of wolves?""She’s a witch," Alpha Leo replied simply. "She should be," he added.Victoria’s lips pressed into a line. "If she’s caught, our plan is ruined."Leo’s eyes glinted. "I never put all my eggs in one basket. I have a backup plan."At that, Victoria’s tension eased. A slow smile curved her lips as she drew closer. "Tell me," she coaxed, "what is your backup plan?"Leaning in, Leo whispered. Whatever he said widened her eyes and deepened her smile.Meanwhile, Analica slipped out of the hospital. She had killed the guard, unable to shift, and bent her last reserves of power to disguise his corpse as a travel bag. The spell wouldn’t hold more than thirty minutes. Hugging the strange bag tight, she hurried past

  • The Chosen Human Luna   Chapter 131: Leave That To Me

Eve's POVAfter my call with Michael, I was getting ready to leave the hotel. If I wanted to move in my wolf form, I knew I could only travel under cover of night. I checked my essentials, phone, ID cards, cash, making sure everything was intact. That’s when I felt it: a sudden shift in the atmosphere, heavy against my back like a weight pressing down.I sniffed the air. Nothing.“Don’t bother,” a voice slid into the room, familiar and commanding. “You can only pick my scent if I want you to. Right now, I only wanted you to feel my presence.”I spun around.Collins.The Greek god himself lounged on the couch in the corner, as though the room belonged to him, his posture relaxed, infuriatingly at ease."When—and how—did you get here?" I asked, keeping the bed between us.He sighed, crossing one leg over the other with careless grace. “You ask too many unnecessary questions.”"Why are you here?" I pressed, ignoring the jab. My wolf stayed silent, leaving me to face him alone, as always.

  • The Chosen Human Luna   Chapter 130: We Need to Find Analica

Eve's POV"How many witches and wizards still live among us?" I asked before I could stop myself.A smile flickered across the boy's face, and his eyes glowed faintly, there and gone in an instant. He couldn’t have been more than his early twenties."Just like you were born a werewolf, some of us were born witches, others wizards. Don’t let history fool you," Collins said, striding toward the couch.Every step carried an authority that felt far too heavy for someone his age. I had to remind myself: I’m an alpha. I don’t quiver before anyone, not even him. Still, I couldn’t ignore the way he settled onto the couch, dropping into it like a king claiming his throne, one leg casually crossed over the other as if this were his domain."What do you mean?" I asked, my gaze locked on him."Some things will never go extinct, not until the world itself ends," he replied, the corner of his mouth curling upward."You’re a wizard too?" I pressed."You’re following," he said, neither confirming nor
