Damien's POV

I stared at Victoria for a couple of minutes and shifted my gaze to Ariana. She stood there in silence, but I could read the pain in her eyes.

"If you were not interested in marrying her, you shouldn't have put her in the family way. You must take responsibility for her," Alpha Leo said.

"She used witchcraft on me before. What is the guarantee, she is not doing it again?" I pointed out as the thought dropped into my mind.

"Damien, I pursued you before because I loved you. Very much, even if you don't believe me. That is in the past now. I did see you don't feel the same way about me, so I decided to move on the day I found out our mate bond was broken. I didn't expect this to happen. The night when I came to check up on you because you didn't look okay when you left your office was a mistake," Victoria said. "This is no witchcraft, Damien. I am indeed pregnant and you are the only man I have been with recently," she added and placed an envelope on the table.
