11. A New Morning Routine

AURELIA.

I stretched my lean body out of bed. My alarm was set for six am so I can have breakfast and still meet up with Jake to take me to my film shoot by seven.

I rolled out of bed and picked up my phone from the bedside table to meet three new messages… from Jake and Alpha Gavin.

One read,‘Morning Sweetheart. I hope you slept well.’ I blushed. It was one of his usual traditions, to spice my mornings with messages that warmed my heart. They were not necessarily long… like this one but they still got to me.

The second was a picture of his wolf standing beside his car, they were of the same colour but different shades… dark brown and light brown respectively.

He added a short caption,‘How does he look?’

‘He looks great. I'll put this on my lock screen.' I sent a quick reply to let him know I have seen the messages.

I went over to the next message which read.‘Are you up already? Annette wants you to help make breakfast.’
