Chapter 9 - talking

Rowan was up early once again. Both boys were still asleep, probably exhausted. Miles because of all the travelling and Leo since he pushed his shoulder pretty far yesterday. She sympathised with the both of them and decided to let them sleep in.

She decided she'd go check on Lamarie and Rika, there hadn't been any recent war movements so she was pretty curious on what was happening.

She prepared some food for Leo and Miles just in case they woke up while she was out. She wrote a small note, leaving it by the food explaining where she'd gone and that she planned to take them all somewhere once she returned.

Even with how long Leo had been here, she hadn't actually gotten to know him that well and with Miles' arrival she wanted the three of them to get on. Miles needed that.
