The Heart Wants What It Wants

Ayden held the car's door open for Eleana waiting for her to enter. With a sharp intake of breath, Eleana entered the car.

"Thanks." She said before getting in the passenger side and then buckling her seatbelt. Ayden gave a small smile before moving towards another side of the car and getting in the driver's seat. He started the car before hitting the street.

"Where are we going?" Eleana asked as she looked out the window. The streets were as usual crowded, people moving like a time bomb as they didn't have time to pause and care about others.

"It's almost lunchtime. Let's grab some lunch first then we can head somewhere else." Ayden replied after he checked his watch for the time. Eleana nodded without saying anything. She reached for the radio station and turned it on. Never Be Me by Miley Cyrus started playing. Eleana looked through the window while listening to the song. She wondered how long it had been since she last went out like this with Ayden. Probably more than two years.
