Chapter 19 ~ We all have secrets

Kiana sat in her office and stared into space zoning everyone out as she debated if it was time for her to come clean because she felt like the secret was weighing heavily on her.

“Miss Frost?” Juliana called.

“Mmm?” Kiana moved her eyes from the wall to face her assistant who was looking at her worriedly.

Juliana hesitated momentarily before speaking, “Is it the leak?”

“No, I have a solution for that don’t worry. But I’ll need you to look into who has been stealing from the company and a full report on Daniel before the meeting which is in a week. The launch is in three weeks so we have so much on our hands.” Kiana said.

“I’ll get started on it right away.” Juliana nodded and walked to the door before pausing at the entrance and turning to face Kiana. “If you need me to kick ass, just let me know.” Juliana winked and walked out.

Now alone, Kiana’s mind went back to the previous night as she stared at her phone. 'Should I call him and apologize?' She thought as a load of guilt
