Chapter 1: Lisa's Dilemma

Lisa let the last few days overwhelm her thoughts. She chastised herself doing so, it is only something to wear isn’t. An accessory like a necklace or a ring, surely. She allowed her memories to drift back to when she first thought about it. She was watching TV and secretary came on. She liked it a lot, it was almost better than the Story of O and crash.

Oh, who was she kidding, nothing was better than crash. She thought the movie was speaking to her, No it was speaking to her, it was saying Lisa have some courage go after what you want like this woman is go to the club. The club was a beautiful place, it was privately own and entry was by invitation only. One of her friends had recently given her an invitation to the club to satisfy her curiosity about the life. She had yet to use it. The movie Secretary turned out to be just the kick in the pants she needed.

She went to the club on a Friday. She made sure her hair was done neatly, not too much grease or oil. Lisa had gotten a nice trim just for the occasion. She wore a black evening dress because the invitation said jeans and very casual wear would be admitted.

Lisa packed the invitation carefully in her bag and got on her motorcycle. She headed to the club after calling her friend and letting him know she will meet him there. God, I hope it doesn't rain and ruin my hair and dress, I really like this dress. Gosh, Lisa, why do you always have to do things the hard way?   He offered to drive you. You could have just gone with Stephan, but no,   you   just had to be stubborn and drive your motorcycle.

When she got to the club’s location. A valet was standing outside next to her friend. “No” he said as the valet came towards the motorcycle and Lisa started to tense up. “Just tell her where to park, no one rides baby except her.”

 “Baby sir?”

 “Her motorcycle”

The valet told her to park the bike in the club’s private garage.

When Lisa drove there, she was surprised by the lack of cars that were in it. You would think the garage would be more packed than this.

When she came back, Stephan spoke to her.  “Lisa your invitation. ”

Lisa tilted her head to the side as she gave it to her friend, who showed it to the doorman.

“For security, my dear. The club has clientele that would like it to be discreet.”

The door man pushed a button that allowed the two to enter.

Lisa grabbed her friend's arm. Wow, a modern day speakeasy. I know Stephen said the club was not exactly legit, but jeeze. Lisa went inside and fell in love instantly. The chandler itself was to die for. “Oh my god, it's beautiful, Stephen, too beautiful.”

“Mm, it will do for now.”

Lisa wasn’t rich nor did she ever think she would be, and she suddenly felt small, aware that she didn’t belong there. Her friend was unmoved by the look of it. Lisa looked at Stephen, noticed his custom-made tailored to fit Supreme Bespoke suit, and she felt inferior to him.

She knew Stephen came from old money, and she often wondered why he stayed friends with her. It didn’t help that beautiful wealthy young women threw themselves at Stephen in front of her, and she was constantly reminded of what she could not have. It didn’t matter that he almost always turned them down, it made it worst. If he could turn them down, why would he not reject her? She knew her place with Stephen, though, and she was happy to share something none of those women would ever share his secrets.

Stephan was a closet bisexual, and he frequently used her apartment with her permission to bring his male affairs. It was the last time he did so that he found out her secret. He was getting ready for his latest male conquest when he went to her computer to send an email with the address and found her BDSM profile for alt.com pop up, she must have forgotten to close it. She made an account, but never actually replied to any of the mail she got from it. She was too chicken to go through with it. When she came in to get Stephen's house key before he shooed her away, she saw him smile from ear to ear.

“Oh my I knew there was something about you that drew me to you dearie, like a moth to a flame. First I thought it was your beauty.”

“I’m not…”

“Of course you are, Lisa, you're Gorgeous, but I digress.”

“I knew it couldn’t be that because I know a lot of beautiful women. Then I thought it was because you kept my secret and even let me use your apartment like my personal hotel, but that’s not it not entirely it’s because you have secrets of your own, Lisa, isn’t it?”

“I don’t know what you are talking about, Stephen”

“Come now, Lisa I thought we were above such lies you know my secrets, it’s only fair I get to share yours don’t you think?”

“Stephen, really, what on god’s green earth are you talking about?”

“The BDSM site on your computer.”

“Stephen, really would a little bit of privacy kill you?”

“Don’t blame me, you forgot to close out.”

“Yeah maybe, but you do have your own account on that computer, why don’t you try using it once in a while?”

 “Why are you still here?”

“You forgot to give me your key.”

“Why don’t you just make a second key while you’re out, so you could stop asking me for it?”

“Because Stephen, unlike you, I wait for someone to offer instead of just taking what I want.”

Stephan cut his eyes, nearly making her wish she had not said anything at all. Lisa bit her lip.

Stephan smiled, not a silly smile, but one good enough to release the sag from her shoulder. “Well, Lisa, if I waited for a key to your apartment, I would have never gotten one. Leaving my access a bit limited, wouldn’t it? If I hadn't made a key for your baby, you wouldn’t be able to drive it now because your last baboon of a boyfriend threw the keys out of the window. Stop trying to change the subject.”

“Stephen, no one is trying to change the subject.”

“Yes you are, so you’re going to tell me or not?”

“It’s just curiosity, Stephen.”

“Really? Well, then I know this club that specializes in this kind of thing. So, why don’t you come by and satisfy your curiosity? Entry is by invitation only, so I’ll have my P.A. mail you an invitation.”

“I am your Personal Assistant, and I have yet heard of this club, nor have I sent invites out to anyone, Stephen.”

“Well, so you are, but you aren’t my only Pa, Lisa, you know that. Since you want to be a smart ass, then you can mail it to yourself, can’t you?”

That’s how Lisa ended up at the club in her black dress, cursing the day she met Stephen Biscotti at Yale University.
