Andre's POV

I was discharged the next day with strict orders from Marcario to take care of myself. Catalina picked me and we shared an awkward silence on the way home. The silence was so intense I glanced at her a few times to check if she felt it too. She didn't give off any emotions and just paid attention to her driving. I gave up a few minutes into the ride and made conversation. "The weather seems nice."

While waiting for her response, all I got was a side glance. I was going to say something when she said, "it's nice, the sun is out. It would be good for a picnic." I didn't know what to reply to that so I just nodded.

We spent a few minutes in another yet awkward silence.

"So how was your night?"

She was talking to me without me starting it first. This was new, and I liked it. "It was good, I slept well even with a blaring alarm in the room."

She turned to me, confusion written all over her face. "What?"

"Marcario snores," I replied with a knowing look
