I was terrified. When I was a kid to see a shark in the Atlantic, or a wildebeest migrating into a lion's territory. None of this frightened me, but now I was curled up in the corner of the stern, trembling uncontrollably. Not just me. Elise's upset, too. She gripped the handle of the gun tightly. If anything goes wrong, she'll pull the trigger and sweep the water.

He seemed to go back into the deep water, where large bubbles began to small bubbles on the side of the boat.

"Oh, there he is," said Alice with a smile and pulled the trigger, "Be quiet, baby."

As soon as her voice fell, the lake immediately a large number of sprays. It's like an animal struggling in the water. Then the creature slowly floated up.

Alice smiles more happily. She reached out and grabbed the creature from the water, pulling it out. When she saw the creature she had caught, her face suddenly changed. Its long body is covered with livid scales and its mouth is full of sharp teeth, which means the creature is a common fish called alligator gar. The average size of this fish is about 2 meters, and the longest can reach 3 meters, but this one has reached 4 meters.

“shit!!” Alice cursed and flung the fish back into the lake.

It suddenly dawned on me that we could be dealing with a very cunning man.

“What are we standing there for? Hurry Up!” Alice and three others circled in the boat I could see her gun-wielding hands shaking. However, the lake is incredibly calm at the moment, just like the scene of boiling water as if it was just my illusion.

"Pull back now! Things are getting serious. Alice shouted and beat one of the men on the back with the back of her gun, urging him on."

The more anxious, the more things do not go in the direction of the imagination. The two of them, who were well-trained, were in a panic. The oars that were sliding in the water formed a forward-and-backward trend, and the boat spun clockwise on the surface of the water.

"You two idiots." Alice pushed them away and lifted the plank from the stern, revealing what was underneath. I used to sail the ocean with my father, so I knew right away what was a small engine under the plank. She opened the engine flap, pulled a string from it, and yanked hard.

With the sound of 'Tut-tut', a cloud of black smoke came out of the hood. Em…it was broken.

"My Goodness!" Alice hugged her head, “Oars! oars! Yes, oars! Let's go back!”

The oars, long gone with the waves, seemed to silently laugh at her ignorance.

Alice knelt right in the middle of the boat.

I looked at the people, and the fear that had The Hours I before had slipped away. I decided to say something to cheer everyone up. My calf began to cramp as I curled up for a long time. I rubbed my calf and put my other hand on the side of the boat to support myself as I slowly got up from the boat.

The next second, I didn't move. Something wet and slippery is touching my hand.

There was more fear in my body than not long ago, and it took almost all of my strength to stop myself from screaming. I know, as long as I call out, it's really over. Humans in extreme fear of the situation will gradually calm down.

I found that while my heart was racing, my brain was thinking clearly about what to do next. I looked up at Alice and made a face to indicate that she was looking this way. This strong woman, however, seemed to have fallen into some terrible delusion and murmured to herself as she hugged herself tightly.

The other three are no better off.

I know I'm on my own now. The gun that Alice kicked aside in his panic was not far from me. I kept my hand on the side of the boat and tried to straighten my legs and pick up the gun on my toes.

You can do this, Cara. I pumped up for myself from my heart, closed my eyes, and turned around quickly. That must have been the fastest time of my life. Turn and pull the trigger. In one fell swoop. But god played a trick on me. They had all the guns safety off, except for this one in my hand. 'click', is the sound of empty guns.

Help! I wailed in my heart, opened my eyes, and froze.

A human face lay before me. It was a face that was almost at the height of human beauty, and in some of my vocabulary, I could not find the right words to describe it.

The owner of this face was looking at me in a daze, like a Jaguar with a dolphin in front of it. He looked at me with a curious look. I was suddenly a little glad that the gun was the safety on, "Hey..." After the export, I began to chagrin about my own recklessness. I'm not sure exactly what level of intelligence he has, or if there's a high-level language center that understands what the word means.

He tilted his head, the long hair resting on his bare shoulders.

It's really hard to imagine that the creature that made such a big noise just now could be such a human-like species. He looks like a human toddler just waking up from sleep. He watched me for a while, and then I felt the moisture fade from my hands, and a black, scaly object appeared before my eyes. It has four branches, like a monitor lizard's claw, but the center is covered with a thin layer of transparent flesh. I think it should be his hand, a kind of reptilian as well as fish characteristics of the 'hand'.

"Fantastic, isn't it?" The sound from behind interrupted my observation. I looked back and saw Alice, who had regained her senses, staring at the creature in front of me with an intense gaze, one that, even if it did not land on me, I could feel in it an amazing sense of desire, sticky glue together to eat it alive.

"It's a synthesis of almost everything good about advanced biology."

I dreamed it again. The whole world is black, only the body up and down the feeling tells me that I am now in the 'escape' .To be precise, it is to be carried 'on the run' .It was a terrible escape. The sticky liquid soon soaked half of my body, although it eased the pain from the friction of his scales and me, but no one would want to be held so uncomfortably and bumped.Plus the very uncomfortable hug posture.I was shaken so dizzy. Babies don’t hide their emotions at all, and I expressed my feelings very straightforwardly at that time. With a cry, the corridor that was only echoing with the sound of footsteps on the ground was followed by a high-pitched baby cry.“Ooh!” The monster holding me cried out, and the cold claws came up like this, patting my back up and down. That way of comforting was really bad. The claws were cold, how could a small baby bear it?Unexpectedly, the crying stopped. I could clearly feel that feeling, just like being patted on the back by my mother, in t

“Cara~” He called out to me again and came over slowly. This position is so shameful that the lower half of my body is completely exposed, legs spread out in front of him. "Don't come any closer!" I struggled for a moment, then was pulled back by the restraints on my wrists. My legs were wide open, and his gaze felt like sharp needles piercing my body, giving me the feeling of being a naked mouse waiting for mating, making me extremely uncomfortable. "Don't! Don't look at me!" I closed my eyes, avoiding his gaze, tears streaming out uncontrollably. “Cara···” I was disgusted by the sudden smell of blood in my nose. Blech! “Cara!” I had just opened my eyes when a deep green claw covered in blood appeared in front of me. Then Mason quickly withdrew his claw, wiping it on his body twice, and finally sniffing it under his nose. Then he blinked, half-clasping his claw, and gently wiped the tears from my face with his curved knuckles. I suddenly remembered some of the romance movie

“Heart rate dropping… Hurry!!!” The beeping of the machine was incessant in my ears, followed by a crackle and a surge of electricity that jolted my whole body. I bounced up and down uncontrollably on the bed. “Heart rate rising… Good… Very good…” My body felt like a battery that had been recharged after the shock. I regained some vitality. I opened my eyes. I could sense many people crowding around me, their voices reaching me in fragments, but muffled by an invisible barrier. There was a glass panel in front of me. No, I was trapped in a transparent glass chamber. What are you doing? I opened my mouth. “Yiya… Yiya…”No, that wasn’t my voice. “Oh, my Kara…”The glass lid was lifted, revealing two familiar faces. Dad, Mom… I felt a lump in my throat when I saw them. I remembered this scene. Dad had told me that when I was born, I had a brief cardiac arrest. Luckily, they managed to snatch me back from the jaws of death. My father was a tough-minded biologist, but he couldn’

I jolted awake and sat up on the bed. The room was pitch-black, except for the faint blue glow of the screen on the wall near the door. I touched my pajamas, which were intact and snug on my body. The air was clean and odorless. Everything that had happened seemed like a dream. I got up from the bed, feeling no discomfort in my body. Instead, I felt refreshed and relaxed, as if I had a good rest. I was also dry and spotless. Maybe it was just a dream. ‘I am an asshole…’ I covered my face with my hands. How could I have such a dream? Did I secretly wish for something like that to happen? “Cara, are you awake?” The pager in the coat hanging on the rack rang. I walked to the rack and took out the caller. “I just woke up. What’s going on?” Claire’s voice came with a smile. “We did it. We created a new, less toxic individual. Wiles is saved… I mean, I want to invite you to see the new synthetic creature. Your father is on his way back…” “Mason… what will happen to him?” I clenche

  • The Creature   Chapter 22:

The blanket was nowhere to be found. I must have kicked it away in my restless sleep. Darkness enveloped me like a shroud. I felt the dampness of my pajamas, drenched in sweat. I was awake now, and my throat was parched and raw. I staggered out of bed. My head was throbbing and I nearly collapsed to the floor. “Am I have a fever?” I wondered. I touched my forehead, which felt slightly warmer than my palm. Actually, my whole body was burning up. Sweat had wetted my bangs and they stuck to my forehead. It was only after I gulped down a glass of ice water that I felt a bit less hot. Did I leave the door open? The door of my room was somehow open, and the emergency light outside the corridor was not on either. Looking out from inside, it was creepy and ominous. I hesitated for a moment, then walked to the door. The blue screen on the wall that controlled the door switch was also dark. Was there a power outag
