"YOW!"
My fingers automatically stopped from typing on my iPad's keyboard when I heard Donna's voice. Nag angat ako ng tingin at nakita itong umupo ng pa de-kwatro sa silyang nasa harapan ko.
"Uhm?" Maikling sagot ko at ibinalik ang atensyon sa ginagawa.
"It's 11:50 already. Anong uhm ka dyan?Lunch na tayo.You owe me tons of explanation."
"Oh,shocks. Sige wait lang patapos na 'ko dito. Are you starving? Or kaya pa naman?" Natatarantang inayos ko ang mga papeles sa harapan ko.
"Gutom? Keri pa. Pero kapeng-kape na ‘ko. I'm craving for that iced coffee of SB."
"Okay. Give me three minutes," I searched for my phone and purse. Ready to go to the newly opened Starbucks across the road with my caffeine-deprived BFF.
