“She left?!” I yelled, looking at Nathan who looked away. My blood was boiling. What right did she have to leave the pack house without informing me? Has she gone to find the stupid true love Becca talked about?

“She went to see her parents, I think she deserves it,” Nathan responded and I paused. I felt a little calm that she had just gone to see her family. That was good. Sitting back, Nathan and I continued pack work.
