Trisha laid awake that night, hand on her flat belly as she stared at ceiling. Monika had just left saying that she had an early meeting the morning. Monika office was pretty far away from the Trisha apartment.

Trisha didn't knew what to do. Her relationship with Jonathan was improving yet they were not that close to starting a family.

Jonathan didn't talk to Trisha much, often choosing to stay quiet. Trisha knew nothing about what Jonathan life. Jonathan would not be home for another two weeks and Trisha didn't want to give this news on the phone. So she decided to wait.

Waiting is never easy. It comes with anxiety, negative assumptions and so much more.
