Chapter 3: Wedding Night

THE NIGHT OF THEIR WEDDING

The door kicked open.

“Your highness,” said the maids.

“Get out!” exclaimed Austin.

“Yes, your highness,” they all stuttered.

Agatha, hearing the distress of the maid's voice, tensed up.

The maids all stormed out. They closed the door as they exited the room.

“Know this, I wanted your sister as my mate. She will be my Luna,” said Austin.

Agatha felt her heart pounding loudly.

“You will never be anyone important to me.”

Agatha clenched her hands tightly together.

“You better live as if you are invisible.”

Agatha became angry at his words. It’s not as if she chose to be married to him either. She doesn’t know him. Nor even like him.

“Even if you have to live as if you are dead, then so be it. Don’t cause me any problems.”

Agatha sighed at his words.

“Humph. Make sure I never see your face.”

“Then let’s make a contract,” said Agatha through her head cover.

“A contract?”

“Yes.”

“Humph. Like father like daughter. What trick are you coming up with?"

"No. No trick. It is something you and I both want."

"Oh. What is it?”

“In one year’s time we will divorce, thus breaking this mating bond. And by that time, you can marry the woman you love.”

“What?” Austin was shocked by her words. As if he couldn’t believe what he heard he asked, “You're being honest?”

“Yes.”

“You know how serious this mating is?”

“I do.”

“You may never be able to mate again.”

“So? You’re willingly to give me my freedom.”

“Okay. As long as you break this bonding with me, I will do it.”

“Fine.”

“Deal.” Austin didn't even hesitate as he answered her.

Agatha wasn't shocked as he agreed to her so quickly. How he must have dreaded marrying her.

"Pfft, your father liking the color red so we're both dress in red," thought Austin. "So, annoying."

Agatha sighed and walked over to the table.

"She's been kept away from society for so long that she's probably ghastly looking too. That's probably why she have a red head covering over her head," he thought.

Agatha took out a piece of paper and a brush. She slightly lift her head cover to where she could see and wrote out their contract. When she was done, she signed it. Then she handed it over to Austin. “Please take a look at our contract and sign it if you agree to the terms and conditions."

Austin frowned and took the contract from her hand. He read through it and was happy with the agreement. He took the brush and signed his name.

Agatha was smiling behind her head cover. "Good, he took the offer," she thought.

“Now, don’t ever say I forced you into this contract," said Austin. He handed the paper back to her.

“Of course, I wouldn’t your highness.” She took off her face cover. Unveiling her face, Austin gasped at her beauty.

Agatha was like a goddess standing before him. She was a beautiful woman. She was by far one of the fairest woman he have ever seen. Her skin was milky white. Her long black hair drifted behind her. Her big eyes with her mega thick long lashes was fluttering gently at him. Her blue eyes were shimmering brightly at him. Her eyes was as dark and deep as the color of the ocean. Her red dress was tight against her slender body. She had an hourglass figure. She had all the right curves in all the right areas. Her breast was big and plump. She was gorgeous.

Austin stared at her in silence, intaking in her beauty.

Agatha walked to the table and took out another piece of paper and copied their contract over. She handed him the copy and kept the original. "This is yours to keep."

Austin took the paper but continued staring at her in a dumbfounded look.

Agatha tilted her head in confusion at his silence. She knew she would shock him with her beauty, but she didn’t think he would go speechless. After a while of Austin not moving or speaking, she softly chuckled. She really did make him numb with her beauty.

Austin softly gasped. “What beautiful laughter,” he whispers.

Agatha, hearing his words shyly looked away.

Austin felt his heart flutter as his beautiful wife looked away from him.

She was walking towards the bed.

Austin eyes followed her every movement. He looked at her with intense blazes in his eyes. He wasn’t blinking at all in fear that his beautiful wife might vanish in front of him.

Agatha grabbed one of the pillows.

Austin frowned as to what she was doing. He stared at her curiously.

She nodded her head and said, “Good night.” She walked towards the low table. She put her pillow on the woven mat and laid herself down to rest.

He looked at her as she was lying on her side, and her back was towards him. He frowned and thought, “What game is this woman playing?” He waited but she didn’t stir. “Is she really asleep?” He wanted to walk over to her and take a look, but he was afraid she might stir and see him peeking at her. So, instead he walked over to the bed and blew out the candle. He too went to sleep.

As he laid in bed with his eyes closed, his mind was wondering. His thoughts drifted back to his beautiful bride. How she stole his breath away. He woke up after a few hours and looked over to his bride. She was still sleeping. He got up from the bed quietly. He tiptoe over to look at her. He saw her beautiful face reflecting at the moon’s light.

He gasped and whispered, “Wow. What a beautiful woman.” He thought that Juniper was pretty, but Agatha was far more beautiful than her. His wife was indeed elegant and graceful.

Agatha’s eyebrows frowned as if she was having a dream. Then she started to shiver from the cold. Austin turned over to the bed and was going to give her the blanket, but then Agatha already had a blanket and pulled it over herself.

He frowned as to where did the blanket came from. He looked around and didn’t see anyone, and he looked back at Agatha. He then shrugged as the maid probably brought it in when he was deep asleep. He continued looking at her as her brows relaxed and she fell back into a deep sleep.

Austin reached out his hand and was about to touch her beautiful face but retreated. He chuckled silently to himself. “What am I doing? I told her that I wanted her sister as my bride, my mate, my luna. So, why am I like a fool trying to touch her?” He went back to bed and after a long time of turning and twisting, he finally fell asleep.

He just got played by his beautiful bride because he thought she was ugly. He was so stupid to tell her he wanted her sister and signed the contract with her to end their marriage in a years time
