Chapter 84: Threat

“My king, it seems we will have to put everything on hold,” said Agatha.

Austin sighs, “Yes, it seems so.”

“Come on, let’s go.”

Before Agatha could walk out of his reach, he grabbed hold of her and hugged her tightly.

Agatha gasped at the sudden embrace. “Your majesty…”

“Stay by my side. I will protect you.”

Agatha smiled and said, “Yes, I stand by you.”

“You don’t have to fight, just be with me.”

“I’m not as defenseless as you think.”

Memories of Agatha’s fighting spirit emerges in Austin’s mind. “Yes. I know. But I don’t want you to get hurt. I don’t want a single scratch on you.”

“I won’t,” said Agatha, with reassurance.

“If I see you in harm’s way, I will go into rage.”

Agatha laughed and said, “My king, just make sure that you are safe and sound.”

“I will.”

“To war against these flying beasts.”

“Yes. Let’s go.”

Out of the tent they both walked out. Hand and hand they both joined the battle.

“King Austin!” screeched the eagles.
