The Curse - 03

Leona just finished packing her stuffs. The room facilities she occupies are very complete. There was even a large wardrobe which was more than adequate for storing her clothes.

Leona combs her hair in front of the dressing table. She just woke up from a nap a while ago, then she immediately arranged her stuffs in the room she was going to stay in for some time. After getting her hair back in order, Leona decided to come out from her room.

The atmosphere of the apartment is very quiet. As if only Leona lived here. Where's William?

Leona took a deep breath and then sat down on one of the dining room chairs. She opened the bag of food that Ethan had said.

There are still two portions of food. That means William hasn't had lunch. Leona felt so lazy to invite the boy to eat together. But, here she is a guest. There was no way she could eat before the owner of this place invited her.

Leona turned around when she heard the sound of the door opening. Her seeds were smiling faintly. Finally, she could immediately enjoy her lunch.

Leona turned to face William with a smile. However, the boy still had a cold face.

"You want lunch now? Let's eat together!" take Leona.

William continued his steps as if he had not heard Leona's words. He stopped at the refrigerator door and took a bottle of soda from it.

"Hmm, Sir, how about we-"

"Are you staying here to be my servant?" cut William.

Leona shook her head quickly. No way. She will to be a famous actress. How could William have said that to her? Moreover, the man invited her to stay here by himself.

"Tsk, the point is let's eat now! I'm very hungry," annoyed Leona.

William opened his soda can casually as he walked towards the dining table.

With painstaking care, Leona arranged the food that Ethan had prepared for William. She even fetched the man eating utensils.

"You are very good to work as a waiter, rather than being an actress," William said.

Leona chuckled. But she was reluctant to respond to the man's words. He didn't feel like arguing. Her stomach was too hungry to wait for her to argue with the man in front of her.

"That is mine." Leona looked at William in confusion. Moreover, when the man was exchanging their food.

"You don't like vegetables? Even though I intend to give in because I think the seller forgot to put vegetables in that portion," said Leona.

William did not respond. The man seemed to focus on enjoying the dish in front of him.

Leona shrugged her shoulders, choosing not to overthink William's coldness. She also began to eat delicious dishes in front of her.

After lunch, William tidy up his food scraps. However, Leona touched the boy's hand.

"I'll do it later," said Leona.

"You really intend to be a maid in this apartment?" asked William.

Leona screeched. What's wrong with tidying up William's food? Aren't the intentions good?

"I just wanted to tidy it up. Oh yeah, do you have any groceries? How about I cook for dinner for us later? So there's no need to order food outside," Leona offered.

"I'd rather take care of my own food," William refused and then went to his room.

Leona took a deep breath. Even though she had good intentions to be closer to William. But it seemed that man was really hard to beat.

"Why do producers choose someone like him to play in a romance film like this? It's just troublesome," complained Leona.

After eating, Leona immediately cleared the dining table. Before returning to the room, she also checked the contents of William's refrigerator. It turned out that the man had quite a lot of food ingredients. Even though there weren't any vegetables there.

"He really can't eat vegetables? Too much," murmured Leona.

She returned to the room then changed clothes completely closed. She intends to go to the supermarket to buy several kinds of vegetables. William may not like vegetables. But Leona needed.

Leona also spotted the supermarket near William's apartment when Ethan was dropping her off earlier. Close enough, and Leona thought she could get there on foot.

An hour later....

Leona returns to William's apartment. Everything went according to plan. The supermarket felt even closer after Leona had come there herself.

Ting

The lift clinked. Leona walking while carrying her shopping bags to William's unit.

Arriving at the door, Leona remembered something.

"How do I open the door? Ethan hasn't told me the password for this apartment," Leona thought.

Leona put her shopping bags on the floor. She rummaged through her bag, looking for the ID card Ethan had given her. But she didn't find it.

"Ah ... it looks like it was left on the dresser. Then how do I get in?" murmured Leona.

She chewed her thumb nails as she thought.

There is only one choice. Ring the bell. But that means William will come and open the door. Leona was sure the boy would be annoyed with her. But she had no other way.

Leona bit her lower lip as she hesitantly ringing the bell once.

Almost a minute. But there was absolutely no response from within.

"Should I ring the bell again?" thought Leona.

Hesitating, Leona ringing the bell again. Not long after, a figure of William came over with his sleepy face. Leona felt bad that she had disturbed the boy's rest.

Quickly, Leona took back her shopping bags and walked into William's unit.

"You're bothering me," William said hoarsely.

"I'm so sorry. I promise I won't do it again," Leona replied quickly.

After the door closed, William walked over to Leona. Stand right in front of the girl. He thrust something at Leona, making the girl scowl in confusion.

"Write down your cell phone number! I'll send you the password for this apartment," William ordered.

Leona quickly put her shopping back, and reached for the flat object William handed her. She wrote the number on the boy's cell phone.

"Here," said Leona as she returned the cellphone to its owner.

William accepted it, then just went to his room.

Leona shook her head at the boy's behavior. How could she used to be a fan of a figure like that.

Awakening from her reverie, Leona hurriedly tidied up her shopping. She put the groceries she bought into William's refrigerator.

His lips were smiling when she saw the state of the refrigerator which was more colorful than just a moment ago.

"I'd better cook the dinner menu now. Only then will I take a shower," muttered Leona as she took back some of the ingredients she was going to process.

Leona is a girl who is used to doing housework since childhood. Even cooking is not a new activity for her. Moreover, when she has to study outside the city and rent a small apartemen where she lives. She is getting used to doing anything alone.

It didn't take long time, Leona's cooking was cooked. The girl immediately set it on the dining table. After that, she went into her room to clean himself. Looks like she's starting to like living in this place. Even though she had to meet a man as cold as William, at least she felt comfortable and safe living here.

'Just need to be patient in a little while, Leona. And you will get everything you deserve,' thought Leona as she enjoyed the splash of water from above her head.
