Riona POV
I had just gotten out to the seaside with Hamil to forget about what happened yesterday. The whole day I just stayed in my room binging on carb snacks and tedious TV shows. When I saw Hamil go home early, the fact that he was the only one I could trust in the mansion aside from Alpha King, I shortly asked him if he could bring me to the seaside. The sea was my serenity. The wide horizon was my cure. My energy was always elevated every time I strolled to the shore barefooted. The wind breeze blew all the negativity I had in my thoughts and replaced them with positive insights. I trotted and played with the waves. I giggled and screamed with Hamil. I ran fast and hustled the seagulls resting on the sand away. It was so fun. It was so wonderful. It was beyond comparison. And Hamil was just the nicest man I had met in the human world. He told me his stories. He was Master Matthew's childhood friend and cousin from the mother's side. His mother wMatthew POVI told Hamil to go home first for I had a sudden appointment with a business partner. We were going to launch domestic aircraft from remote areas where they had original airports before but had been stopped by the government due to some technical and environmental factors. With a little well-detailed discussion, we pulled it off in a jiffy.I drove home but upon arriving at the gate, I saw my other car had just left my mansion. My senses instructed me to follow them which I did. I knew Hamil was the one on the steering wheel but had no idea who was in the passenger seat. When my car stopped at the seaside and saw Hamil open the passenger seat door, I held my breath hoping it wasn't her. But I was right, it was her and now they were holding hands going to the seashore. My hand pressed my chest while watching them laughing and running chasing the waves, splashing water onto each other, I couldn't breathe at all. That was my slave, my person having fun with
Riona POV..At a dinning table, nobody would like to talk. Matthew never lifted his head, his eyes were on his food. Baron narrowed his stare as he sliced the steak with his knife and fork. King Victor never touched his meal. Hamil secretly glanced at everyone. While me, I had been stabbing the steak unintentionally turning it into ground meat. Hamil told me a while ago these three went to the study room and stayed there for quite a while. Now, he was invited for supper which didn't usually happen in the past. The table was composed of all werewolves in Blue Moon Pack, which amazed me at all. There could be an important cause why we're having dinner together. However, We'd been sitting for almost 30 minutes yet nobody would like to speak. Till it was me who broke this awkward silence."King Victor, have you talked to King Ralph?" I casually asked.Among the stuff that was messing my mind, that was the one that my lips let out. I could have asked Baron abo
Riona POVThat only werewolf meal was nothing but a disaster. As always, the food on the table was splendid but they were all wax to taste. Upon imparting his plausible opinion, Matthew stormed out. The last thing we heard was his car driving off at a breakneck speed.I sighed desperately while gazing blankly at this grace. Sure, the life of well-offs was the same as the life from the royal pack. No matter how enormous and elegant this mansion was, it felt empty and shady. It looked dim and depressing. My lips let out some air as my breathing rose. My legs pushed the edge of my chair and bowed at the remaining audience at the table. Without any words, I left the dining room and strode to the back door. As my sneakers touched the lawn, I went flat out like a flash of lightning. My destination, the cliff.I was like a lost soul running to the forest, unbridled by the protruding roots and these enormous leaves that were slapping my body and my face. Till I reached the c
Riona POVI was woken up by noises on the first floor the next day. I stretched my hands welcoming the rays of the sun that were peeping through the window. I blinked my eyes till they got used to the morning light. As I dragged myself up, I glanced at the digital clock on the side table."Oh! Shoot!" I hastily got off the bed my duvet was tangled to my feet sending me a loud thud of falling, my face kissed the wooden floor. "Hey, floor! You're lucky, you're my first kiss in the morning!" I mumbled as I got up and immediately ran to the bathroom. It was ten in the morning. Nobody had ever knocked on my door to wake me up. This was my first time slumbering for too long. Hamil and I left the forest at midnight but that didn't mean I had to sleep like a log.As I was done with my morning routine, I ambled downstairs only to see King Victor, Baron, and Hamil. Hamil was even stunned to see me striding in haste."Sorry, I slept a lot. But where are you guys going?
Riona POV..I was just gazing around while listening to the command Victor was proclaiming. He gathered all his loyal subjects, spoke to them about preparation while I was beside him."Use your power if necessary. Always remember, let's protect each other!"King Victor maybe 15 but he was bestowed with the Alpha power, the strongest among all the packs. Although there were three of them that didn't make him the weakest. He was in fact as strong as Caesar. And his abilities to create fire and to move objects using his mind were already dominant. I had met his loyal subjects before. That Draco was the one who threw Erro in the air, he couldn't look me in the eye when I stared at him. I remembered, he also had the telekinetic ability. The one standing beside him was Zenia, athletic and warrior-built. She could create flame just like me and the king. Then there was Aram, standing beside Zenia. Hamil told me he was strong. He wasn't just Kin
Victor POV.."My king, I have just talked with Ava through mind-links. She said King Caesar brought around a thousand army with him and they are on their way to the north border!" Aram, my right hand, reported while my eyes stared at the wide horizon. The green fields were empty but we were all aware that behind those hills our enemies were waiting for us."Alert Hamil! He is the one guarding the north border!" I sternly told him while my gaze was fixed on those hills. Ava was my spy under Caesar's garden. When I spoke to her through mind-links, she answered right away. "My King, their weapons and armors have wolfsbane. Be very careful!" her voice was stern and her background was quite loud. "I am marching with them!" that made sense. "You should be careful, too, Ava. They might smell you!" my orbs were white, a sign that I was speaking to someone in my thought."I will, My King!" Ava simply responded. Upon cutting off our con
Victor POV..Caesar tried to bite my neck but my fangs got a hold of his shoulder first, locking it deep and hard till I heard his howls. I took that opportunity to raise my paws and pushed his chest up so I could roll him over. As we changed positions I pinned him down to the ground with my fangs buried deep into his shoulder, my tongue tasted his blood. "You'll never win against me, Caesar!" I kept speaking to him in my thoughts."That's what you think, Victor. But you're wrong!" he uttered. His eyes sparked red exhibiting his alpha power I could say stronger than mine. As he lifted his head, I saw his pack shift their visions on us, snarling and roaring. They were communicating in their thoughts. "Prepare! They're up to something new. Something we've never seen before!" I told my pack through mind-links which they hastily obeyed as they growled back and positioned in front of us, protecting me.However, before my pack could attack, Caesar had taken
Matthew POV.."Is there any way we can solve this? Coz I really want to bet for Blue Moon Warrior tonight!" D*mn, I couldn't believe I was bargaining. They yanked their dubious stare at me, smirking at my facades from head to foot. If I would show them my fangs, would they still stare at me this way? I absolutely doubt that. They might run for their lives!"Well, the ticket cost a fortune. Do you have any means to pay for that?" they even made their voice louder. Their sardonic look was getting to my nerves.I had been standing at the entrance for quite a while and my patience had already run out. I pulled out my wristwatch and raised my hand showing them its quality. Their gazes gleamed at its gold-plated bracelet and diamond-coated crown while my eyebrow was raised as to its perfect S-shaped line."Alright, I think we can arrange a VIP slot for you!" finally, they're talking. "Hey! Come here. Guide Mr. ~" he commanded a man in a black vest, white
