“I want you to seduce the Alpha.”

I froze.

The way he said it made it look like “seduce” sounded casual.

“What?” I asked, not sure I heard him right. Surely, he wasn't serious.

Drake leaned against the stone pillar like he hadn’t just dropped a live grenade at my feet. His eyes had that smug glint I hated.

“You heard me, Tabitha.”

“No, I didn’t. Because if I did, that would mean you’re suggesting I sleep with Kaidon against his will.”

He shrugged, then gave me that twisted smile of his… the one he always wore when he knew he was stirring chaos. “Not sleep. Seduce. There’s a difference. Sleep comes later. First, you make him crave you. Besides, no man craves a woman’s body against his will. Your job is to make him want to screw you”

I blinked, stunned. “Why would I do that?”

Drake chuckled, slow and low. “Because it’s the only way you’ll get him. You want him, don’t you?”

I folded my arms, suddenly aware of how tight my dress was. “That’s not your business. Just answer my qu

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   His heart is darkened!

Drake smiled like a snake as we stood by the long glass windows, watching the tension build across the hall. Alpha Kaidon was in a heated argument with Alpha Cunha… again. It was only a matter of time before Kaidon snapped. His shoulders were already stiff, his nostrils flaring like he smelled betrayal in the air. I folded my arms and looked over at Drake. “You really enjoy this, don’t you?” Drake didn’t look at me. He just kept staring at the chaos he’d helped ignite. “You’re pitching Kaidon against his friends,” I added. “What do you even gain from it?” He turned slowly, that annoying smirk on his face again. “A lot,” he said simply, his voice low and sure, like he had the whole world figured out. I raised a brow. “What exactly is ‘a lot’? What, seeing your brother isolated? Seeing everyone walk out on him eventually?” He chuckled. Not laughed… chuckled. That deep, dry kind of laugh that had no humor in it. “I’ve always dreamed of this day,” he said, stepping away from the

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   When death comes knocking!

The fire crackled in the pit before us, warm against the chill of the mountain breeze. Laughter rippled through the circle of alphas—too much wine, too many old stories, and just the right amount of ego. The moon hung high and heavy above us, bathing the clearing in silver. I leaned back in my seat, watching the flames dance, trying to let go of the nagging weight in my chest. Something felt off, but I couldn’t place it. Not yet. Alpha Cunha let out a grunt and rose from his seat. “I need to stretch my legs,” he said, brushing imaginary lint from his trousers. Alpha Ulrich snorted into his goblet. “Stretch your legs or your manhood on one of Kaidon’s maids?” The others erupted into laughter, even I cracked a smile. I should have expected that from Ulrich. His tongue was as sharp as his claws. Cunha rolled his eyes. “You fools really think every time I walk away, it’s for a woman?” “Don’t act like it’s not true,” Alpha Linden chuckled, raising a goblet toward him. “If it wears a

I had always hated the way everyone looked at Kaidon, like he was some gift from the Moon Goddess. Like he was born to lead while the rest of us were just meant to follow. Even though he was older, I was smarter and sharper. But our parents, fools that they were, picked him. It was always him. Kaidon, the blessed one. Kaidon, the strong one. Kaidon, the future of Moonstone. I’d smiled through it, stood by him, played the loyal brother. But deep down, I’d been planning my day. And tonight felt like the perfect start. The party was in full swing. The ballroom was noisy with laughter, drinks clinking, wolves mingling like we weren’t all just pretending to like each other. Kaidon had invited every Alpha he was on good terms with… everyone but Kris. That was surprising. As always, he was the center of attention, dressed like a king, his silver hair catching the lights. He was too busy showing off to even notice I wasn’t around. Good. I slipped away from the crowd and found Alpha Cunh

Sara’s lips moved, but I didn’t hear a word she was saying. It was not because she wasn’t loud enough, but because I had stopped listening. Somewhere between the sound of their laughter and Alpha Kaidon’s voice dragging me through the mud in front of his alpha friends, I had shut down. I dropped the tray I was holding, not caring that it almost landed on my foot. The metallic clatter it made was sharp, loud, and for once, it felt louder than Sara’s constant commands. “Lila!” she barked behind me as I turned around and walked out of the hall. “Lila, I am still talking to you! Come back here!” I didn’t stop. I didn’t even flinch. The few maids who stood nearby stared at me like I had just grown two heads. I heard one of them gasp and whisper, “She just ignored the head maid… she’s done for.” Maybe I was, but I didn't care, really. The cold night air slapped my cheeks as I stepped out. I welcomed it. I needed it. But it didn’t help me breathe the way I hoped it would. It didn’t

The hall echoed with laughter as I raised a glass to peace. That was what we were celebrating tonight: peace in Moonstone Pack. No threats, no bloodshed, no tension hanging in the air. Just peace. My closest allies were here. Alpha Cunha sat to my left, lounging like he owned the place… as usual. Beside him was Grayson, the loudmouth of the Red Fang Pack, always ready with a joke and a drink. Then there was Ulric, who barely ever smiled, but tonight he was talking. That meant he was in a good mood. It wasn’t every day you saw Ulric talk and laugh. “I swear, Kaidon,” Cunha said, nudging my arm, “you’ve become soft in your old age.” “I’m thirty,” I said, rolling my eyes. “That’s ancient for someone who used to snap necks for breathing wrong,” Grayson added with a chuckle. “Not my fault peace looks good on me,” I muttered, sipping from my goblet. We were just settling into another round of stories about that rogue ambush two years ago when the doors creaked open and a few maids wa
