I smiled, though my eyes stung. I sat beside her and took her hand gently, afraid of hurting her.

Her skin felt paper-thin, but her grip, her grip was still strong.

“Did you manage to talk to the doctor about your heart bypass schedule?” I asked carefully.

Grandma’s smile faded a little, and she looked away. “I don’t plan on having the surgery, sweetheart.”

For a moment, I thought I’d misheard her. “What?” I blinked, my hand tightening around hers. “Grandma, what did you just say?”

“I don’t plan on having the surgery, sweetheart.” For a moment, I thought I’d misheard her. “What?” I blinked, my hand tightening around hers. “Grandma, what did you just say?” She looked back at me, her eyes soft but filled with something heavy… something final. “You’re starting college in a few days, my dear. The tuition is due, and we can’t afford to fall deeper into debt than we already are. I’ve lived long enough, Corvina. I… I don't want to be a burden to you.” “Grandma!” I almost shouted, tears rising in my throat. “Are you serious right now? Don’t ever say something like that again.” “Sweetheart…” she began, but I cut her off, my voice shaking. “You’re all

“Fuck!” I shouted the moment I stepped outside, slamming the door behind me so hard the frame trembled. My voice echoed down the empty hospital hallway, but I didn’t care. My heart was still racing and my lips still burned from what he did. I hate him so much for taking my first kiss away from me. Like it meant nothing! How could this be happening to me? My palms balled into fists. The nerve of him. The arrogance in his eyes. That stupid, infuriating confidence that made me want to both punch him and… And what? Kiss him back? “No,” I muttered under my breath, shaking my head hard as if to throw the thought away. “No. No, no, no. He’s just a…” “My words caught.” “He’s a fucking werewolf.” That alone should have been enough to keep me away, to erase whatever just happened. But no matter how hard I tried, the memory lingered. The way he looked at me before his lips crashed onto mine. The rough warmth of his touch. The sudden silence of the pain that had filled his body

Her lips were soft. So soft that for a moment, I forgot who I was, forgot what I was, forgot that I was supposed to be the Alpha who ruled with power and pride. All I knew was that the pain was gone, and her lips tasted like the only cure I’d ever needed. She hit my chest with her fists, small and desperate, trying to push me away, but I couldn’t stop. I didn’t want to stop. Because for the first time since the curse began burning through my blood, I felt alive. Then the pain of a different kind seared through me. She bit my lip hard. I hissed and pulled back, tasting blood. Her eyes were wide, her cheeks flushed, her breath unsteady. And before I could say a word, she slapped me again. The second one hurt even worse. Not because of the pain, but because of what came next. Tears filled her eyes, her voice trembling as she whispered, “That was my first kiss.” I froze. “It was meant for my husband,” she continued, voice breaking, “not for an asshole like you.” Her wo

No. No. No. She can’t be. She’s human. Why is this happening? When our hands touched, I saw the faint golden thread that only Alphas can see. The bond. The mate bond. I shot upright, moving faster than any human could. In a blink, I was in front of her, my hand gripping her waist before I could stop myself. “From the look of him… he’s a werewolf,” I heard her whisper, terrified. Then she pushed me back trembling. But I wasn’t letting go. I pressed her gently against the wall, close enough to breathe and sniff all over her in her human scent. “What’s your name?” I demanded. “My name…is… C….Corvina Vardan,” she stammered. “You almost hit me with your car!” I heard her saying. Her voice trembled, but her eyes were fierce. She looked terrified and brave all at once. I stared at her, my instincts warring with my reason. She smelled human, but her touch… her touch had awakened something ancient inside me. She whispered under her breath, almost too low for me to hear. “F

  • The Cursed Alpha and his Chosen Mate   Chapter 2

The world has changed over the years. Humans and werewolves now live side by side, bound by uneasy harmony and ancient laws. But peace built on secrets never lasts and mine is the darkest of all. Alpha Davian, ruler of the Crescent Moon Pack and King of the werewolf realm. CEO of Blackfang Corporation. To his people, he is power, authority, and control. But beneath the surface, a curse burns through his veins, waiting for the right moment to destroy him from within. It starts the same way every time heat crawls beneath his skin, rising until his blood feels like fire. His heart pounds as though trying to burst through his ribs. His body trembles, and his eyes blaze an unnatural shade of blue, and he can taste iron on the tongue. I clenched my jaw and let out a low growl. “Not now,” I hissed to myself, gripping the edge of the bedpost until my knuckles turned white. The pain came in waves, spreading from my chest to my throat, searing every inch of flesh it touched. I couldn’t

  • The Cursed Alpha and his Chosen Mate   Chapter 1

“Grandma, please don’t worry about me that much,” I said softly, holding my phone close to my ear as I walked along the quiet street. “I’ll come visit you at the hospital soon, okay? And please you don’t have to worry about your medical bills. I promise you, I’ll make sure I…” The words died on my tongue. A blinding flash of light filled my vision. My heart stopped. A car was speeding straight toward me too fast, too close. “Oh my God!” I gasped, stumbling backwards, but it was too late. The impact came hard, though not enough to throw me off completely. I hit the ground, my phone skidding across the road. My breath caught in my throat as I stared at the vehicle now just inches away from me. “Holy hell…” I whispered, clutching my chest. My heart was pounding like a drum. “Who the hell drives like that?!” The car had swerved sharply, smashing into a nearby tree to avoid hitting me full force. Smoke drifted from under the hood, and the front bumper was crushed inward. I pu
