AESPIA POV

My eyes opened so fast, I jumped off the bed to see what it was that was coming after my leg. I turned on the light and searched that area.

My eyes caught a needle on the bed. I was confused, why would this be on the bed? I looked at my feet and it was hurting so badly.

My mind went to Cara, she must have been the one who placed this here when she came into the room.

I looked at the time, it was almost morning. I sighed. This place was hard for me, why would she do this to me?

I began to think of how she was the Luna of the pack and Xyren still brought me into the house.

My legs were still hurting me, I have to find out what kind of agreement it is between them and why she was here while I was brought in.

I paced around the room, moving back and forth, with a sore toe. I stood by the window and just looked at the sky.

When I got tired of standing there, I went back to bed and drifted off to sleep.

" Up , up, right now" I heard it so loud from my sleep.

I jumped up and saw the maids right in my presence, the very ones that had dipped my head into the water, the ones that had done that evil to me.

Fear gripped my heart as I saw them again, my eyes went so quickly to the bathroom.

" Do not worry about that,we are not here for that today" one of them said.

I gasped, what did she mean by she was not here for that today, does it mean they were going to do it another day?

I was pushed out of the bed.

" You have a task to do," the other said.

Task?

Why was that? There were maids in the house to do them, why should I be the one to do them?

I ran out of the room, I did not care to know what I looked like, my hair was in a mess but it was nothing right now. I began to go from one door to the other, looking for Alpha king's room.

I wanted to let him know what was going on and ask him why I was being treated the way I was treated.

I got to the master bedroom, I stopped, my eyes going all over the door. I thought of what he was going to say to me, what he was going to do to me.

What if he does nothing about it? What if there is no solution offered to me?

I raised my hands to the door and decided to do it, I did not care about the outcome, I only wanted to be saved from Cara.

I knocked on the door, stood there and waited for him to open the door. I kept standing even when there was no sign of anyone.

I raised my hands again and knocked, this time around, I made it louder, it was loud enough for him to hear, he was not deaf.

" What do you think you are doing?" I felt someone's hands over me, it was a push.

A push that made me fall to the ground and had my legs hit against the wall.

I groaned in pain, it was the exact spot that I was injured by that needle this morning. The pain doubled and had me screaming for help.

I managed to crawl to the other side when I saw that it was Cara who had pushed me.

" Answer me" she yelled at me.

I couldn't even remember what she had asked me, the pain I was feeling clouded my hearing and even my memories.

" What did you...you say?" I asked slowly, after recovering a little from the pain.

" You became deaf huh? I can't believe the Alpha went for a deaf woman this time, how sad. What were you trying to do? Why were you at his door?" She stood at the door.

I began to wonder how many other women he had brought to this place and why I was the only one here.

I wanted to ask her where the others were but I kept quiet, it was not the right time for such questions.

I managed to pull myself to the corner, away from her.

" I want to see him," I said.

" He is out of town, I do not know when he will be getting back," she said.

I frowned. Why would he bring me here and leave this town,like she had said.

Part of me did not want to believe her,but there was nothing I could do as there was no one opening the door for me,maybe he was really not around this place.

I stood up gently, my eyes did not leave her, I was scared of what she was going to do next.

" Why do you want to see him?" She asked me.

My eyes were still on her, I wondered why she wanted to know.

" It is something personal, it has nothing to do with you," I said.

She came closer to me and held my neck.

" I know it has everything to do with me, do not say a word about this to him. The day you do so, I am going to kill you and that will be your end. Do not dare it, never imagine it" she released me with a push.

I staggered backwards but was fast enough to hold myself from falling.

Did she just threaten to kill me? Did she just boldly say it to my face that she was going to kill me?

" Do you understand what I just said?" She asked.

" I heard you" I nodded my head.

" Now, stand straight. You have to smile and walk well to the dining table, make sure you smile" she said.

I was in a mess, my legs hurt and my heart bled, but I was forced to walk well and put on a smile.
