A WITCH

Sienna was seated alone in the hall. Elliot and Alaric had gone out while Ruby and Daniel had retired for bed.

Sienna was deep in thoughts when the doorbell rang. She opened it to find a tall lady dressed in a long blue gown. Her hair was tied up in a bun and her eyes were blue quite similar to Alaric’s.

When Sienna finally got out from the shock of seeing a stranger at the door, she said, “How did you get in?”

Her lips stretched in a wide smile and said with a twinkle in her eyes, “I am a witch.”

Sienna’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She was sure she had missed some inner joke.

“Pardon my poor sense of humor, Luv. I am Sue Woolf, Alaric’s aunt.” She said stretching her hand towards Sienna.

Sienna licked her lips and said, “Alaric is not at home…”

“I know. I came here to meet you…”
