Chapter nine(Vulnerable)

Third person's Pov: 

How dare you!!....." Juliet madly yelled at Juliana as she angrily strode toward her. 

"What is going on here?…. Don't you dare lie to me, I saw everything," Juliet spit when glaring at both Lucien and Juliana.

"Since you saw everything…. No need for explanation" Lucien coldly hissed with a hardened expression.

"How dare you!!!....." Juliet cried out.

"How dare you cheat on me with this cursed creature," she snarled. 

"How does it feel…." Juliana teasingly mumbled to furious Juliet.

"Haa!!...." Juliana cried as her cheeks collided with a thunderous slap. 

"You cursed being, you have no right to talk to me," Juliet sneered as she kept glaring at Juliana, her once best friend more like a sister. The girl she has envied and dispersed so much, that she hates it that she gets everything she ever wants despite her being foul-mouthed. Men drool at her when she has to put in a lot of effort before any guy has to approach her, Lucien has been her crush since her childhood and it hurts her to see him mated to another. 

Due to not being that pretty or the type of girl Lucien rolls with, she has always cherished and admired him from afar. 

She has taken it upon herself to keep her one-sided love to herself till the day she met Juliana, they were cool and genuinely loved each other but everything crashed and came to an end the day Juliana couldn't condone her happiness and spilled the news. Their once sisterhood and friendship ended that moment when Juliana broke the shocking news of being mated to Lucien, her hatred towards Juliana started at that moment.

Her heart and mind were no longer in the friendship but she kept deluding Juliana who thought that their bond was still intact, Noticing that Lucien was power-hungry and hadn't heard of the cursed she-wolf, she took it upon herself and decided to use it as a strategy to woo Lucien. 

She perfectly executed her plan and won Lucien to herself, she stabbed her best friend in the back by betraying her. She broke her friendship and ended all the sweet memories that they both created, and she never felt remorseful for once about her attitude towards Juliana. Juliana's pain gives her joy, seeing Juliana dwelling and wallowing in pain satisfies her. 

"What gave you the authority to talk to your Luna like that!!…..?" Juliet yells.

"Luna indeed……" Juliana taunts with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I am your Luna, idiot and your Luna I will always be……the earlier you accept that the better for you," Juliet slurred.

"You can never be my Luna….. Never!!!!...." Juliana exclaimed painfully.

"Hahaha……" Juliet dangerously laughed.

"Give me the whip…." She stretches her hand as she requests the whip.

"I will lash your body with this….." She uttered with a wicked smirk.

"I did nothing bad, the moon goddess will bear me witness that I haven't wrong you for once……," Juliana cried.

"Is it the moon goddess who hates your existence to the core…. The same one that blessed and honored you with a lethal disease, the same one that curses your existence," Juliet insults Juliana as she spits those words at her. 

Juliana whimpers as hot tears slide down her cheeks, "Juliet was saying the truth, the moon goddess cursed her existence. She punishes her because of her mother's evil act, her life had never been a peaceful one and always had ups and downs. She hates her existence because she always prays and craves for death to locate her…" Juliana brokenly said within. Hearing Juliet spits those words at her, hurts and breaks her heart into pieces. Her heart crushes as she hears those hurtful words from Juliet, the girl with whom she has grown fond. The girl that she took and treated like her sister.

"Why are you doing this….?" Juliana asked Juliet with pain visible in her tone, her blurry eyes staring at the smirking Juliet.

"No time for chit-chat, baby…" said Juliet as she whipped Juliana with the silver chain.

"No!!!!......please!" Blood dripped down from her lips as Juliana pleaded for mercy.

"Pal…..please!!.." Juliana cried as another one pierced through her flesh.

"Why are you doing this to me?….. Why are….. She didn't get to finish as blood spits out of her mouth, her whole body aches, and she feels sore all over her body. Every single place hurts her like hell, she felt her bone-breaking and cracking.

 Her eyes look dull and her face looks pale, her hair is now covered with dry blood, and the same thing with her face and body. 

" Enough!!......" Lucien rumbled.

"Why…? Do you have to end the fun?" Juliet whined as she glared at Juliana whose only faint breath can be heard. She looks weak and tired, she looks like she did pass away any time soon.

"I have had enough fun…" Lucien declared.

"Really…. But I haven't even started yet," Juliet confessed with a smirk plastered on her lips.

"Enough…." Lucien said, clearly, annoyed.

"Why enough? She deserves to die," Juliet furiously mumbled.

"She will be sacrificed to the moon goddess tomorrow," Lucien said with an evil smile.

"Really….." Juliet surprisingly uttered with satisfaction.

Juliana spit out blood as she glared at the two people she has come to love so much discussing her death, she hates them but deep down she knew that she still felt something for Lucien and Juliet. She is ready to forgive them if they tell her that all this was a dream, she won't deny the fact that part of her heart still craves for Lucien.

Tears flow down from her eyes as she stares at both of them, she hates herself for still loving Lucien despite everything they have done to her. All their terrific and incredible moments were easily forgotten like they never existed, all their aww moments were already forgotten by Lucien. With eyes as red as blood, she stares at Lucien walking toward her in all his glory.

"Hey, the little cursed she-wolf, I wanted to keep you for political reasons but I have this feeling that you will cause my people more harm," Lucien said with a mischievous smile across his lips.

"So I have decided to kill you by beheading you and dangling your head in front of the pack……. I will be known as that almighty Alpha that executed the mysterious she-wolf," Lucien said cruelly as he tapped Juliana's cheek with a disastrous smile.

Juliana's body trembles in pain as she bites her lips to avoid sobbing, in as much as she prays for death it still hurts that the person she loves so much was going to be the reason behind her death.

Lucien settles himself comfortably in a wheelchair as he orders his bodyguard to take him out of the room.

"Prepare yourself for tomorrow's execution," he winks at Juliana before exiting the room.

"Umm……nice one," Juliet mumbled before quickly following behind Lucien leaving only Juliana inside the dark prison to wallow in pain and self-pity.
