‘’ Is this the end?’’ Rain’s hands were quivering in fear and her legs gave in. her legs were frozen to the spot.
‘’ What are you doing out here Babe?’’ the familiar voice called from behind her.
Rain moved her face and glanced behind her to see the face of Bella.
Her mouth dropped in ease.
‘’ Bella? What are you doing here?’’.
‘’ Surprise, there’s not much work, so I came in early. I thought we could spend the rest of the day chatting. I even brought some berries to make some dessert.’’
‘’ But, why are you sweating so much?’’.
As Rain had expected she couldn’t fool the eyes of her best friend. Sweats were rolling down her face just like a waterfall.
Her face was worn-down from all the running, which made it weary.
