"She called an emergency board meeting."

Lucas put his coffee down and looked at me across the kitchen table.

"When?" He asked.

"Last night. Eleven forty seven."

"I got it at midnight." He picked his coffee back up. "My lawyer called at twelve thirty. She is not just using Sunday dinner. She is using the board meeting to create an official record of whatever she plans to say at that table later."
