“I just don’t understand why his treating you like shit,” Michy complained, rolling on the bed to look at me where I was sitting, moving around my schedule.

“I don’t know as well. I understand him wanting to do his job, but dude, the guy hates me,” I added.

She pauses, biting her fingernails as her lips turn up in a mischievous smile and I know what that means.

“Maybe he likes you,” she smirks.

I scoff, closing my laptop.

“Like me? Do you think right now I should be thinking about that? I feel like his someone holding a grudge towards me or something,” I complained to her, but she seemed to have zoned out.

“Michy” I snap my fingers in front of her and she shakes her head.

“Know what? Would love to continue chatting but someone would like to chat with me,” she smiled, getting up from the bed.

She quickly puts on her shoes before rushing out of the room.
