I watched as Enzo barked out instructions to everyone. From where I was sitting, all I could hear was him giving them instructions about what they were meant to be doing today.

Our duty was to spend a few days here before heading back home and give Dad a briefing about what happened here.

“Are you ready?” Kai asked, bringing me back from the train of thoughts that I had for hours

“Uhmm?”

I was confused because I didn’t hear anything.

“Let’s go. I want to be back in time before he notices anything,” he suggested, offering me his hand as I smiled vividly, taking hold of his hand as we glanced back before we disappeared behind the houses heading to the river.

“How was it coming here with him?” I asked, wrapping my arm around his waist and his hand went over my shoulder, pulling me closer to him

He gently kisses my temple, shaking his head.

”What?

Don’t want to talk about it?’ I asked

He nods his head as I look up at his lips. He is the best person to happen to me. I love him
