Kendra POV
I awake in the bed alone. Tobias left me a note. He is out running errands. I wonder what he is up to today. It must be really important if he did not even bother to wake me.
I cannot believe he mentioned marriage last night. This relationship between him and me is slightly odd. I need to make decisions about us today. I have grown to care a lot for him. Damn, I think I love him.
If he asks again, I will say yes, but there has to be somewhere else we can go and live beside her with his Alpha. That wolf is rotten to the bone. The way he looks at me is gross. When he spanks me, he seems to enjoy it. I think he is mean to his littles. Why don’t they leave? Do they not have the option to leave?

Tobias POVI put her in danger. I should have never left her alone. I know better. The way Alpha was sniffing around her. He wants her. He almost had her. Kendra POVThis day seems to have taken forever. I need to see Tobias. If he would only tell me what I need to do about the baby, I would let him go. It will hurt, but I can do this. I have spent the day thinking about everything. I do not want a child, but I am pregnant now. I have to decide what is best for the baby. Being in the middle of a pissing contest between Tobias and Alpha is not what is best for the baby or me. I have to do what is right. I dress conservatively. Pulling my hair back gently, I notice a small mark on my neck from Alpha. I try to hide it with makeup. It is no use.
