Bradley POV

I pull myself out of bed to see what is happening. There is a blood pool at the door. It hurts like hell to move, but I have to make sure everyone is okay. I manage to get both feet on the floor. I grab ahold of the bed to use it to help me stand.

When I get to my feet, I steady myself and slowly make my way across the floor. It is not easy, but I have to check on Kendra. My body burns from where they removed the bullet, but I know I can do this.

I finally make it to the door. “Kendra! Mother! Chuck!” I scream.

I hold onto the door looking outside. The blood pool has turned into drag marks. I see Kendra over my mother. “Is she okay?” I scream to her.

“Yes,” Kendra says.

“What the hell happened?’ I ask her.

She says something to my mother lying on the ground and comes to me.

“You need to get back in the bed,” Kendra demands.
