“So what news do you bring today, my child?” He asks, and I can’t help but smile.

“Hello, Arlo. I am sorry I have not been around.” I say and look at him.

“Oh, do not worry about that, I know it is almost time for the hunter’s moon.” He answers.

“Yes, and this year the ball will be here,” I tell him, and he nods his head.

“Are you ready?” He asks.

“Yes, thanks to an old woman in town. And you can’t tell anyone, but she is a lone wolf too. But very kind.” I tell him, and he smiles at me.
