"When have I ever failed to cook your favorite dish when you're here? If only you'd come back more frequently so my cooking skills wouldn't go to waste," Donna replied warmly.

Their hushed conversation unexpectedly caught the attention of someone else.

"You have some nerve asking if she cooked something special for you? Don't you find that embarrassing?" Sadie's voice resonated from upstairs. She stood haughtily with her arms folded and glared at Rita disdainfully.
