Kaya was sitting on the bed at the clinic. I felt terrible for bickering with her all morning. I just have been on edge since the whole thing with Jack. I was not mad that I killed him. He deserved to be dead for what he tried to do, but the repercussions of that scared me. I didn't want to have another slaughter like what happened with my parents. I needed to have everyone more than prepared for what may come. If they could walk, they needed to know how to fight. But, Kaya, I worried about her. If she was pregnant and war came, what would that mean? She should be far away from the fighting.
