Chapter fourteen

Mia’s pov

The past two weeks have been excruciatingly long. We still hadn’t been able to sit and talk to Ryan long enough to get what we need from him without one of our parents showing up.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think they knew what we were up to and just didn’t want us involved with Ryan, either way, I had to get some answers , plus my eighteenth birthday was in two weeks so yay.

I thought whatever it was that I was feeling towards Ryan would fade, boy was I wrong. If anything, I just grew more protective of the boy. I’d been warned to keep my distance since he still couldn’t be trusted but I couldn’t help it, it’s like the bond that had formed between us just kept growing, I was growing more fond of him, not in a romantic way though.
