Chapter 17: The Doctor's Intention

I took Kayleen back home by force even though she didn’t like the idea. The cops didn’t catch us but I’m sure the CCTV footage of that restaurant will lead them to my house. I have to think for an alibi. Some strong statement that will make them believe. 

“You don’t have to do this Zeke,” Kayleen said but I pushed her inside her room forcefully and shut the door close as fast as I could. She kept on pushing and smashing it while I’m trying to block it. I successfully locked it. 

My breathing is heavy for a moment and I’m trying to calm down. 

“Just let the police take me!” she insisted but I didn’t say another word. My decision is final.

The sudden doorbell almost made my heart pop out of me. My body started shaking, thinking about the cops on my door. I walked in the front of the entrance door
