Chapter 9 Meeting the Leaders of the Pack
“So, first thing on the agenda is formally introducing ourselves to our new members. We will go in order of rank. So, I will go first.” Samantha said as she looked between me and Lily. “My name is Samantha Silver, and I am the Alpha here. You may call me Alpha, Samantha, Sam, or any combination beginning with Alpha. As your alpha I am responsible for the smooth running of the pack. I oversee everyone here and they each have their own jobs that they are responsible for. If you have any problems, feel free to approach me with them and I will ensure that you have the assistance you need.” Samantha smiled and looked over at me. I looked around the table and waited for the next person to speak, she said by order of rank, right? That means Violet should be next, but she is just staring at me expectantly.
Wait a minute....I look at Samantha who is giving me an encouraging smile. Damn it I have never been good at public speaking.
