Chapter 8 I'm not talking with you!

(Sena POV)

My eyelids suddenly flung open. I didn’t have a nightmare. I just woke up. But immediately I tried to go back to sleep. Ah, how comfortable it is to sleep in an air-conditioned room. I always felt good about myself whenever I wake up refreshed from a rather exhausted body before sleeping.

I'm so cute. But hurtful. Yes, I was sadistic too. But I never killed people. After I bullied people, I usually apologize in the sweetest way I could.

Wait a minute...

The pillow was so soft and fragrant. The comforter was so cozy. The bed was as cottony as the clouds. I wished my bed at home was as heavenly as that. Wait?!

I opened my eyes again and almost jumped when I saw two people by the bedside. One looked like a doctor and the other one holding a clipboard looked like a nurse. So, I’m in a hospital?

I gazed around and knew I wasn’t in the hospital but in the room of a filthy rich living socialite. Large chandeliers, beautiful draperies, and figurines that looked imported... Even the tall column windows looked very regal.

I sat up. With a question but I could not say something. This is not nightmare? How come I sleep and wake up in a nightmare?

The two strangers were surprised to see me move. Then I remembered I was in a battle. Were they the enemies?

When my endorphin ran out after trying to stand up, I felt my injury again. Ouch...

"Tell Sir George she’s now awake,” the doctor said to his companion. And after that, the handsome creature approached to help me stand up. Awww… “I'm Miguel, your personal doctor.”

So freakin’ handsome! My guardian angel seemed to have appeared. He’s like Michelangelo, an angel from the bible.

Wait, personal doctor? Did I hear that right? I couldn’t even afford a dentist, much more a personal doctor. Did he mistake me as his patient? Or maybe my real parents found me? Kidding. I love my parents and nobody could replace them. Period. Maybe my brother won the lottery jackpot?

Everything was just ridiculous. What’s happening?

He looked at me. I looked at him. Yes, he's handsome. Doc, I’m pretty? Winked.

"Do you remember anything?” he asked.

So, they thought I had amnesia? I still knew my older brother. He looked like Gory from Slum Dunk. My nephew Tolits was super tiny, like a mouse whenever he moved!

I nodded.

Yes. I was still the assuming lass who’s so pretty whenever she wakes up.

My laughter disappeared when I noticed that I was wearing different garment. Not a hospital scrub but a white dress.

Oh my God! What happened? Did I body switch? I looked around for a mirror but caught my reflection on a lampshade. Still cute. Still me. Then what’s this?

“Miss Sontoria?”

“Wait. What's happening?” I replied.

“Miss--”

“Where am I? Who dressed me up?”

“Miss, calm down. You were unconscious for almost a week.”

“One week?!” I asked in disbelief.

The doctor nodded.

“Wait! Where are my clothes?”

“We threw them,” another man suddenly answered. I remembered his face.

“Sir George,” the doctor addressed him and gave him a folder.

I just inhaled when I recalled why I was there. That George guy just bobbed his head at my direction.

“You- Miss Sontoria, have three hours left to save your brother from death.”  That’s him! He’s the secretary of that sadistic demon!  “Master Sean is willing to wait for you until you’ve eaten.”

I suddenly remembered how that Sean guy played me like an old papyrus! Or rolled me like a tissue paper.

I almost fell from my seat. Shifting uncomfortably, I laid down on the floor and pulled the comforter around my whole body. On another note, I just rolled under the bed while hoping to find the only place that would remind me of the real world.

“Miss Sontoria.” They called me as if my behaviour was questionable or act like insane. Nope! They're killers!

I receded some more underneath. I’ll not come out unless Sadako creeps beside me.

"Hey Miss Sontoria.”

More than fear, I was impressed at how pristine the space was. There’s not even a speck of dust beneath that bed.

It’s just ID, peeps! Your Master just slipped on the floor because he didn’t watch his steps. Because he’s as proud as a cat.

Why being sensitive. There is nothing to be serious on that matter.

And that’s why I challenged him. Yet, I never beat him.

I didn’t even hit him in our fight. I was defeated! Why’s he so sensitive? How did this person become an important visitor to the Philippines? And who was he to brag in my own motherland? If he’s like that, he’d die here.

“You're wasting your time!”

A week unconscious, my ass! Who’re you guys fooling? Wait for me to recover until I don't have any muscle pain anymore, and I’d fight again. I still wanted to sleep so don't bother me yet!

“Miss Sontoria, your brother’s life is in danger!”

My brother?

Are they really serious about using him to blackmail me? That mongrel was better than me in martial arts. He’s also a bad grass. He won’t die easily.

"Let her sleep. But kill her brother now,” an annoying voice said.

It was Sean.

Hmph! I wanted to hurt him like crazy. But I was lazy to even get up.

"As you wish, Master Sean.”  Before George could leave, I crawled out like a mermaid and grabbed his feet.

"Hey, wait!” But muscle pain shot up so I lazily laid myself on the floor. It's clean. “Please give me an hour to sleep…”

“But Miss Sontoria ...” That 'but' again, damn. I just woke up and heard I was unconscious for a week. And now they’re already joking with me? Really? Damn these people!

The blanket was still wrapped around my body so I just blew the strands of my hair off my face.

“You’re really pissing me off, you sadistic demon! It's not too late for you to atone your sins, so better change yourself. You’re spoiling my mood already. This is my country and I will report to the President if my brother dies!” I yelled.

My gaze went to George, which should’ve been for his boss.

"I’m not talking to you Georgy. Where's your boss?” He close his eyes instead as if I dismay him.  I looked around and saw Sean sitting in the corner like a king.

“One hour please, let me sleep. And no nuisance. I can definitely kill anyone who’d disturb my sleep.”  I stood up and plopped myself in the bed.

“Leave us,” Sean said.

Thank God, I’d be able to nap.

But ‘leave us?’

I’d be sleeping alone, right?
