Chapter Thiry Four

Rodger bit his lips angrily and faked a smile.

"Just kidding..." He said chuckling.

"If you are done, then get out..." He said coldly and Rodger having no other choice walked out balling his feet.

As soon as he walked out, memories started to flood in and his eyes got hazy.

"Mum, no you can't die. You can't leave me and Dad!"

"You killed my wife, when you came into our lives, my wife died!" A voice yelled in his head.

Sounds of whipping and flogging was heard in his head and a little boy was screaming.

"Dad, please don't. Dad please don't lock me in this dark room!" The boy yelled.

Dan's breathing became heavy and he was just about to give up when he felt a hand hug him from behind warmly.

"Dan...." She called in a worried sweet tone.

Dan turned to her, his body and his lips slightly trembling and then tears fell from his eyes. Melanie was shocked to the core.

"Dan..." She called worriedly and he hugged her tightly sobbing lightly while she patted his back slowly trying to calm him
