Chapter Fourty Four

Melanie came out of her closet and then she sighed. She never once thought that she would lead an important surgery in her life but she is doing that now. This is her second surgery and she was still nervous as hell probably because she didn't want to make a mistake that would end Rose's life. She made her way slowly towards Dan's ward and opened the door.

There he was lying immobile in the bed with the oxygen tube in his mouth. She smiled and moved closer to him and then she held his hand and kissed it slowly.

"Dan, I wish you are with me today! We promised to operate on Rose together but it's so sad, you are still unconscious. I know you are always with me but I need luck, I need luck so I don't fail you. I don't want the surgery to go bad and I don't want to disappoint you, so I promise you Dan. I'll try my best to make sure this surgery is successful so all you just have to do is to wake up. Wake up please before I came out of the theatre. Hmmn.." She said and kissed his forehead
