LOGINANELISA'S POV
I exhaled softly, my nose sniffed and itched. My eyes scrolled to and fro as I felt exhausted and tired.
Earlier, while being brought here, it seemed as though we were injected, and I fell asleep only to wake up and find myself in a hall, sitting on a golden chair.
The fluorescent lights shimmered on my face, and I was still quite confused. If this was an abduction...I should be somewhere in a dingy cell.
I swallowed hard, lowered my eyes to my hand, the chain wasn't there and that seemed like a relief.
Where am I?
This place was a buzz of activity with the maids scurrying about, their footsteps echoing off the stone wall.
It seemed as though they were preparing for an impending feast. Their scales glow, as if they ripped with malevolent intent.
Tables were set, candles lit, and the air filled with the savory scent of roasting meats, flowers were arranged with smoothed fine linen.
They were oblivious to my presence as their faces focused solely on the task at hand.
The surrounding girls only whispered as they were as tense as I was.
I didn't want to spend a second here or get lured by the watery appetizers before us.
Soon, the hall was soon transformed into a majestic setting, fit for royalty.
My eyes scrolled around, I could see the soldiers stationed everywhere, and it was difficult to think of a way out.
I couldn't become a slave even though I was unsure if this was slavery. The girls seemed to be hypnotized as their eyes were only staring at the lavishing meal before us.
This must be a trap. These dragons must never be trusted. They were enemies! My worries ignited as I went breathless, yet I had to live.
I'd never let Peris think he'd get rid of me this way.
I rose up from where I sat like through an electrifying shock jolting me up from sleep.
All eyes were shifted towards me and I swallowed hard.
"I'm... I'm pressed" I stuttered, my throat felt hold as I held the hem of my tire dress.
A soldier at a distance had a grumpy look at me as he gestured to a maid to follow me.
Plan A was a good start, but I barely knew anywhere around here and so plan B was to get rid of this maid either emotionally or physically.
There was silence between us as she led me to the restroom, but I halted my feet when I was close to the door.
I shifted my gaze towards her and tears clouded my eyes. This maid folded her arms with an arched brow at me and her lips curved into a smirk.
However, I still wanted to give it a try. Perhaps she might be of help. I just have a queer feeling.
What comes after the meal? We'd be dead anyway. I clustered my fingers together, trying to hide the fact that I was shaking.
"Please help me...I don't know, but I'm not meant to be here"
"You're a woman and this is abduction. You'd never support this cruel act" I furthered uncertain if I was wrong or right because from my assertion, I haven't received any cruel punishment yet.
"Are you done?" She coldly asked, and her deep voice made me shudder. It made me feel as though it was a man in the skin of a woman.
Her shimmering blue color brightened the more as she had an emotionless look at me.
"You worthless wolves, your presence only brings demise to us!" She spat, and I flickered my eyes while wiping off my tears.
It's useless anyway. She was pissing me off. They look disgusting. I clenched my fists, exhaling deeply and glaring back at her.
I just didn't know what gave me the courage to do so, or perhaps it was because she refused to help me.
"Then why bring such a sumptuous meal for us? Just kill us right away!" I spat and she widened her eyes at me.
She pulled herself from the wall and I opened the door. Before she could grab me, I slammed the door in her face.
I won't spend a second here again, nor neither would I shed a tear.

The loud bang on the door was persistent, but I wouldn't open it. My hands were already on the window and my legs were situated on the toilet seat, trying my best not to fall.
The least I can do is break a leg. I had those the hem of my long dress until it got to my thighs.
The pieces I got from it formed a rope, not too long. My mistake was not checking the height from here before venturing down.
Tensed and mustering up strength, escaping was the only thing in my mind. I climbed out the window, the rope digging in my palms as I slowly made my way down.
This was more perturbing because the height would kill me. Maybe I should swallow my pride, return to the bathroom and get held back rather than get shattered.
My courage dropped and I ended up crying.
Stupid tears.
I tilted my head upward, and I could see the maid looking down on me. She growled and suddenly vanished from my sight.
That's a bad sign and I need to keep moving.
The wind whipped through my hair, and the darkness seemed to swallow me whole.
I gritted my teeth, as determination fueled me to keep moving forward.
As I descended, the rope began to slip through my hands and panic flushed me.
I tried to grip tighter, but it was too late as my hands lost their hold and my body sliced through the air and my stomach twitched with fear.
Time stopped for me as I screamed and used my elbows to cover my face. For a moment, I could see my mother's pale face.
Her last wish rings in my head;
"Promise me Anelisa, you'll stay alive, fight through and become the queen you were born to be"
Rosie’s POV“Rosie, do you really have to leave?” My father asked as he stood at the corner of my room watching me pack my things. “We could find some other solutions here.”“Yes, my dear… please listen to your father. We can work harder and make a good living for the baby. You don’t have to run like this… what do you want us to do without you?”My heart shattered at her words. I stopped what I was doing and took her hands. “Mother, I can assure you that there is no other way. Father, there is simply no other solution…”“But you told us they don’t know about this. What is the worst that could happen?” My father insisted.“What if they both come knocking?” I asked, already visualizing the horrific scene. “Father, I would never wish for such embarrassment for you. No, please just let me go. Once I settle down, you may even come and stay with me… I am sure we will be fine.”My mother hugged me tight, not wanting to let me go. But eventually, my father understood. He slowly pried my mothe
Amelia's POV.The ride to the hospital felt longer than it should have been. Marcus drove in silence, his eyes occasionally flicking to the rearview mirror like he was checking for threats that didn't exist.I pressed my fingers against the window, watching the city blur past. My chest felt tight with anticipation. I hadn't seen my mother in days, and the last time I did, she looked so frail, so close to slipping away. What if she looked worse? What if the Don's promises were empty? My stomach twisted at the thought, but I forced myself to breathe. He said she was responding to treatment. I had to believe that. When we finally arrived at the hospital, Marcus walked me to the entrance, his presence drawing stares from everyone around. I didn't care. All I wanted was to see my mother. The receptionist looked up as I approached, and before I could say anything, she smiled."Miss Earhart, your mother is in room 304. Third floor," she said warmly.I blinked, surprised she already knew my n
[Rosie's POV]I hadn't come out, but being locked in my room after my arrival, I recalled that knock that came in.I should have taken it seriously but I guess I was too busy planning a way to see my kids.Lying on the bed and facing the ceiling, my hands hold up the letter that was left with that knock.I recall that I didn't find anyone at the door, but just a letter that was left for me by my door. Now, my life was dwindling into it, as it's the first thing I found on my bed after Damien dropped me here."I know your secret" it reads."You can hide him, but not for too long," it continues, and then, after much contemplation, I smack my mouth.I guess the person is confused because there are two "him" in the picture. My two boys and not just one?I tossed the letter aside, uninterested in what it meant as I just wanted to be with my boys.I haven't seen Damien either, I guess it's well, I don't know but he's mea
Harry's POV]Their sober look only proves that she's gone. That feeling of her abandoning them again.Aria heaves from where she stood handing the boys over to me like they're my responsibility. They ran towards me, cowering themselves around me and I swallowed.I rubbed their hair smoothly while my gaze drifted back to Aria who stood poised to her door frame, like one who needed an explanation."Hey boys, go sit in the car" I whispered, handing over the key to Chris who pulled Colton from his embrace and dragged him mildly to the car.Aria was still there, in that position with a frown on her face and my feet drew closer."Did she tell you where she's off to?""Her lover came picking her up," she replied, looking quite tired.I sighed, taking out a card from my pocket and shoving it to her face. That will settle it, for the boys must have put her through. Her face was still twisted as she snatched it away from me
[Rosie's POV]"That talk sure doesn't look friendly, it's like he's stressing you" Colton said letting out a soft sigh and I fussed."Where are we going? Is the house under siege too because of the guy who is sick in the head?""Chris! That's no way to talk about him, you saw what happened earlier, we were attacked and the mansion is not safe yet" I explained, trying not to raise my voice as every one of his questions leaves me hanging."Look mom, he's driving past us...now he's beside us!!!" Colton suddenly reported as he leaned to the window, smiling and knocking on the window.I thinned my lips, as I steadied my drive, letting out a soft pant."I want to be a biker mom, I want to ride through the highs and lows" he pressed on but Chris pouted his lips."Has he become our personal security? Because it looks like you hired him" he mutters locking eyes with me through the rear mirror but I didn't give him a reply.I could see Damien waving at me and Colton waving back even though Dami
[Harry's POV]I said nothing as her smile only radiates and leaves me jinxed. I'd want to hold her, if she'd let me.I almost pulled her for an embrace but this happy night would fade away soon if she knew who I was."So how are you doing today, boy?" She asked in a flirty tone, dumping the teddy bears in my hand."Well, happier than ever, now that you're here" I replied, hugging the bears and she pats my shoulder softly."Do you mind me asking how you got out?" I said in a brief smile as my eyes grazed her."Well, let's say I teleported," she said casually, forcing a laugh from me."I want to have that super power of yours"Saying that might seem flirtatious but I meant it in every way.She chuckled and then shook her head before attending to the boys who were leaping all over her."Oh look at you guys" she teases them, grabbing their wrists and flailing their hands. She was walking ahead of me now, with them as they were discussing, while I steadied my steps. My eyes roamed all over
