ログインAmelia's POV.
My breath caught in my throat the moment I saw Don Mateo step out of the bathroom.
His dark hair looked shiny, and pretty much still wet. Spots of water slicked down his chest, stopping at his torso, which had a towel carefully draped around him there. His bulge was evident even under the towel and the sight of it made my insides pool with heat.
He looked nothing like his age, and that just made all the more irresistible to me.
As he walked away from the bathroom, the memory from him fucking me hard came to mind. Even in my state of mind at the time, I could still remember the burn in between my legs from every stroke.
Every part of me simmered with heat, beckoning me to walk up to him, strip him and enjoy his thickness inside me again.
But I bit hard on my lips, knowing better than to act on it. Our relationship wasn't real, even if we were trying to make it look like that.
But how do I resist this man who currently looked like–
“Margherita, you're staring again.”
I quickly blinked back, averting my gaze from his body. My cheeks burned with embarrassment, as no proper words came out of my mouth.
I quickly turned over, “I wasn't staring,” I lied.
Don Mateo didn't respond to me. Instead, I heard his footsteps, and that just had me shuddering in the bed.
Then I heard the spraying sound of a perfume , and his sharp, sweet luxurious scent filled the room. My insides knotted anxiously, his smell still strangely making my thighs twitch with heat.
God help me–was I becoming finished for this man. How could his non-sexual actions be making me feel things?
When the bed creaked on the other side, I knew he'd gotten into bed. I could feel the warmth emanating from his skin on my back, and the feel of it had me exhaling more times than needed.
I pressed my thighs against each other even more tightly, shutting my eyes like my surroundings were an eyesore.
“Oh God, please don't let me do anything stupid,” I silently prayed as the heat within us made my clit start throbbing.
My breathing slowed, and my body was literally on fire. But I didn't move.
I never moved until the rays of sunlight crept into the room, waking me up from slumber. I turned in the bed, laying on my back while my fingers wandered around the space.
But then I felt nothing.
My brows twitched with confusion as I opened my eyes. That was strange. Where did Don go?
As I slowly sat myself on the bed, I curled my arms around myself, feeling disappointment crawl under my skin. I wished something had happened yesternight, but apparently, Don must have seen the one night stand as a mistake.
That would be the only reason he avoided touching me.
But then, another part of me found it strange that I was wanting something like that. I shouldn't want something like that to repeat itself, after all what we had was a fake relationship.
With a sigh, I plopped out of bed, heading for the bathroom for a bath. After a couple of minutes,I stepped out, picking out a bodycon white gown from the wardrobe.
Just when I was rounding up the styling of my hair, there was a knock on the door. I quickly finished up, before reaching the door.
Vale was the one at the door, and this time she looked more disgusted than fierce.
“I don't think I would like to make it a habit of reminding you to come down for food everytime. You better learn the times for eating here or else you might starve,” she hissed, crossing her arms.
Wow.
What was she being rude for?
“That's not a nice way to talk to someone, you know?” I pointed out, displeased with her tone.
Vale scoffed, dropping her hands and balling them into fists immediately, “you have such guts. Well that's expected. Brats like you tend to enjoy privileges a bit too much.”
“What do you mean?”
“Oh, you'll find out for yourself. You think you're on top of the world because the Don chose you? Wait and see what he does to you when he gets tired,” She scowled, walking away.
My heart fluttered with anxiety, what did she mean by that?
I had the pressing urge to call her back and ask her what she meant, but I also knew she was going to be too rude about it.
Perhaps I could ask Don? I shook my head at the thought, that didn't sound right either. He would think I was trying to make my stay in his life permanent.
I walked down the stairs, deciding to ignore those words. When I reached the dining room, my mouth watered at the dish I was set to eat. I quickly focused on that, though my mind revolved around Don's whereabouts.
As I ate, I noticed a huge figure approaching the dining table. My fingers stilled on the fork in my hand, my body moving into panic-mode.
Why was this scary looking guy coming towards me?
Fuck.
Was he from Raymond?
The thought of that made me lose appetite.
Before I could rise from the chair, he reached the dining table. He bowed his head curtly, raising his head to meet my gaze.
“I'm Marcus. Your new bodyguard,” he introduced himself.
Wow.
This very hefty guy who looked like he could beat up five men at once was supposed to be my bodyguard?
Damn, the Don must take protection seriously.
“Do you have any plans for the day?” Marcus’ question snapped me out my thoughts.
Well, the only thing I had to do was visit my mother. I wanted to see how she was fairing. I was hoping I could talk to Don about it first, since he was the one with the address to her new hospital. But since she wasn't home, I'd just go.
“I want to see my mom at the hospital,” I informed Marcus.
Marcus nodded, gesturing towards the door. I rose from the chair, smoothening my gown as I moved. As we walked towards the door, I couldn't help but wonder if going to the hospital on my own was the right choice.
Rosie’s POV“Rosie, do you really have to leave?” My father asked as he stood at the corner of my room watching me pack my things. “We could find some other solutions here.”“Yes, my dear… please listen to your father. We can work harder and make a good living for the baby. You don’t have to run like this… what do you want us to do without you?”My heart shattered at her words. I stopped what I was doing and took her hands. “Mother, I can assure you that there is no other way. Father, there is simply no other solution…”“But you told us they don’t know about this. What is the worst that could happen?” My father insisted.“What if they both come knocking?” I asked, already visualizing the horrific scene. “Father, I would never wish for such embarrassment for you. No, please just let me go. Once I settle down, you may even come and stay with me… I am sure we will be fine.”My mother hugged me tight, not wanting to let me go. But eventually, my father understood. He slowly pried my mothe
Amelia's POV.The ride to the hospital felt longer than it should have been. Marcus drove in silence, his eyes occasionally flicking to the rearview mirror like he was checking for threats that didn't exist.I pressed my fingers against the window, watching the city blur past. My chest felt tight with anticipation. I hadn't seen my mother in days, and the last time I did, she looked so frail, so close to slipping away. What if she looked worse? What if the Don's promises were empty? My stomach twisted at the thought, but I forced myself to breathe. He said she was responding to treatment. I had to believe that. When we finally arrived at the hospital, Marcus walked me to the entrance, his presence drawing stares from everyone around. I didn't care. All I wanted was to see my mother. The receptionist looked up as I approached, and before I could say anything, she smiled."Miss Earhart, your mother is in room 304. Third floor," she said warmly.I blinked, surprised she already knew my n
[Rosie's POV]I hadn't come out, but being locked in my room after my arrival, I recalled that knock that came in.I should have taken it seriously but I guess I was too busy planning a way to see my kids.Lying on the bed and facing the ceiling, my hands hold up the letter that was left with that knock.I recall that I didn't find anyone at the door, but just a letter that was left for me by my door. Now, my life was dwindling into it, as it's the first thing I found on my bed after Damien dropped me here."I know your secret" it reads."You can hide him, but not for too long," it continues, and then, after much contemplation, I smack my mouth.I guess the person is confused because there are two "him" in the picture. My two boys and not just one?I tossed the letter aside, uninterested in what it meant as I just wanted to be with my boys.I haven't seen Damien either, I guess it's well, I don't know but he's mea
Harry's POV]Their sober look only proves that she's gone. That feeling of her abandoning them again.Aria heaves from where she stood handing the boys over to me like they're my responsibility. They ran towards me, cowering themselves around me and I swallowed.I rubbed their hair smoothly while my gaze drifted back to Aria who stood poised to her door frame, like one who needed an explanation."Hey boys, go sit in the car" I whispered, handing over the key to Chris who pulled Colton from his embrace and dragged him mildly to the car.Aria was still there, in that position with a frown on her face and my feet drew closer."Did she tell you where she's off to?""Her lover came picking her up," she replied, looking quite tired.I sighed, taking out a card from my pocket and shoving it to her face. That will settle it, for the boys must have put her through. Her face was still twisted as she snatched it away from me
[Rosie's POV]"That talk sure doesn't look friendly, it's like he's stressing you" Colton said letting out a soft sigh and I fussed."Where are we going? Is the house under siege too because of the guy who is sick in the head?""Chris! That's no way to talk about him, you saw what happened earlier, we were attacked and the mansion is not safe yet" I explained, trying not to raise my voice as every one of his questions leaves me hanging."Look mom, he's driving past us...now he's beside us!!!" Colton suddenly reported as he leaned to the window, smiling and knocking on the window.I thinned my lips, as I steadied my drive, letting out a soft pant."I want to be a biker mom, I want to ride through the highs and lows" he pressed on but Chris pouted his lips."Has he become our personal security? Because it looks like you hired him" he mutters locking eyes with me through the rear mirror but I didn't give him a reply.I could see Damien waving at me and Colton waving back even though Dami
[Harry's POV]I said nothing as her smile only radiates and leaves me jinxed. I'd want to hold her, if she'd let me.I almost pulled her for an embrace but this happy night would fade away soon if she knew who I was."So how are you doing today, boy?" She asked in a flirty tone, dumping the teddy bears in my hand."Well, happier than ever, now that you're here" I replied, hugging the bears and she pats my shoulder softly."Do you mind me asking how you got out?" I said in a brief smile as my eyes grazed her."Well, let's say I teleported," she said casually, forcing a laugh from me."I want to have that super power of yours"Saying that might seem flirtatious but I meant it in every way.She chuckled and then shook her head before attending to the boys who were leaping all over her."Oh look at you guys" she teases them, grabbing their wrists and flailing their hands. She was walking ahead of me now, with them as they were discussing, while I steadied my steps. My eyes roamed all over
