Riccardo's POV.

"You missed dinner," Emilia said the moment I stepped into my room.

I have been with Ella the entire time. We grew up together, I, Enzo, Ella, and ...I dare not think the name. I haven't seen Ella since the incident that happened or rather before that. Her father had stowed her away just in time for the crisis to happen. I appreciated the way her father stowed her away from the entire thing, it was one less person to worry about and she was safe. I haven't set eyes on her since then until today. Ella has always been extremely chatty. She can spend hours talking about everything and nothing.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Emilia and turned on the light. "And why were you sitting in the dark?"

She was sitting on the edge of the bed with her legs and arms crossed. She released her hands and dropped her legs.

"I wanted to know the moment that you were going to come home." She said.

"I am home now."

"And you are late. You missed dinner." She said.
